Last night’s dinner was a huge disappointment! Our Server was terrific and professional, the Hostesses were friendly, and the Manager was understanding/accommodating when we spoke up, but unfortunately, the food was VERY subpar! -The Palmito Salad, alongside being flavorless, comprised of arugula. The menu should specify what kind of lettuce is used, but it wasn’t mentioned. -The pork chop was extremely bland. Shockingly bland. -The ratatouille was not cooked. The vegetables were actually raw. -We ordered two sweet potatoes, both of which were cold in the center. -Although the Sea Bass was incredibly delicious, all other elements on the plate, such as the small potatoes, were cold. -They don’t serve decaf cappuccino, because they don’t have the machine to make decaf. How is that possible at an upscale restaurant? Why is there no machine to accommodate those that don’t want the caffeine? Ruth Chris carries it, Capital Grille carries it, etc. Overall, though the staff was wonderful, I could not be more disappointed in the quality of the food! Flavorless, cold, and sloppy. Time your plating better, slow down your food service (came out incredibly fast— there is no rush to bring it out. The main course was even brought out as my daughter was eating her salad), and focus on quality, seasoned, well-prepared dishes. When dining at your restaurant, we want to have an experience… a good one at that, and last night was anything but!

We sat outside so expected it to be a little noisy hence the rating of 4/5 for noise level. We could hold conversation however . Apps were very good as usual as was steakhouse salad. Very enjoyable waiter, Logan.

We Love O&E and enjoy bringing our friends from out of town to visit! Thank you for the lovely Birthday greetings for my girlfriend! You always have a fabulous way of making people feel special! Christina was outstanding as always going the extra mile to please and serve us. The Oysters tonight were fresh and oh so yummy! The salmon always prepared just the way we like it! Moist and tender! The “hot towels” after the seafood course was an added delight…a real touch of class on top of the linens…a welcomed step above the ordinary! Two suggestions… if you could add a few more graham crackers to the S’More desert it would be appreciated to help facilitate all the yummy! Also, the Chocolate Gelato was out of this world! May we suggest adding a special additional flavor such as Coconut Gelato? It would be a dynamite combo! Thank you Caroline for making it possible to seat us earlier than we expected…we appreciate all the O&E team out front and behind the scene… Kudos for another awesome dining experience! We will see you again soon!

We celebrated a birthday and they put a card on the table and some festive gold confetti. The food was excellent, especially the wagyu filet, service was very good . It is a little on the loud side due to the high ceilings, but we still enjoyed our meal and would come back again.

We regularly go to Oak and Ember. We always request one of Erica’s tables. Her personality and genuine demeanor makes our dining experience perfect. The food is very tasty and Erica takes the time to learn the food preferences of her guests. She is extraordinary.
