Food was outstanding! Service was quick and attentive. The best Indonesian food I’ve had outside of Indonesia. Would recommend!

An upmarket Indonesian dining experience. The food was amazing and very authentic, yet well adapted to the Australian setting. It was a lovely place for dinner for two and even better as a group. A small reasonably price portion makes it so versatile for sharing. I would highly recommend Nusa. Maria Brookes

A fabulous Indonesia restaurant in West End - exceptional food, service and atmosphere. This is one of the best restaurants in the area.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, although on a busy night I think they were struggling a bit. Food is very well presented, decent sized portions and well prepared. Very tasty with a good range of heat options from very mild to hot via the use of (well made) sambals. Menu has good food descriptions including origin of each dish. We will definitely go back for the food as there are lots of things we still want to try. One thing though that really let them down is the drinks menu. There are only a tiny handful of none alcoholic drinks, a choice of 4 wines, a few (very sweet) cocktails and no beer. They are also not BYO which i think with such a limited drinks menu is something they should consider. On the Saturday night we attended, they had run out of Pinot Gris, which left a choice of only Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or Shiraz - none of which particularly go with Indonesian food. A nice cold beer would have been my second choice and what i would normally drink while in Indonesia - but there is no beer on the menu. The small cocktail list had sort of strange cocktails and the cocktail options were sweet, even the margarita was strange (had blue curacao in it). They were strong though!!

Really nice restaurant. Went last weekend and came back again tonight. Super good food, Super good value and really friendly staff. Just a winner.

We have been back many times with more family and friends. Delicious food every time. Happy helpful staff. Love it!

Really loved our dinner at Nusa! I will certainly come back with a few more friends so we can share and explore more of the delicious Indonesian tapas! The only minor issue that my husband and I had was that the waiter didn't realise that we were trying to order some more tapas after we had finished the first delicious round and were still peckish. After 20mins or so of waiting, we decided to skip the second round and go for ice cream somewhere else instead.

We were met and seated by the owner and chef of the restaurant which was very much appreciated and in my opinion, quite unique. The taste and quality of the food was awesome and authentic; however, the portion sizes were quite small for the cost outlay and when ordering a number of dishes to satisfy one’s appetite, it adds up very quickly and overall, on the expensive side. This is my only criticism of the overall dining experience and I don’t expect my review to change anything in that regard. Whilst I would recommend the restaurant to others, just be prepared to pay roughly $50 per person for a reasonable meal and one of two basic drinks each.

Friendly attentive staff who took the time to go through the menu, and explain the various options and dishes. Easily the best Indonesian restaurant in Brisbane. Quality, authentic dishes and well priced. Will be back..
