Nunzi: Family… Friends… Food… Drinks… In this particular order, that’s what mattered most to him in this world. When chatting he would occasionally reference “those were the Good Ole Days”, and if you think about it, we never actually realize when we are in those special days or moments. And boy did he also talk about and stress the importance of “Traditions”. He often said…. “When I pass they’ll be no more traditions in this family”. Well here at Nunzis we plan on keeping his traditions alive. You will eat with us, drink with us and laugh with us. Families and Friends all enjoying delicious food, fine drinks, good music and making memories. For those of you that never got a chance to meet “Nunzi”, these were the memories that he lived for and the nights we know he never wanted to end.

Food was disappointing. Someone in my party ordered something off the menu and was then told they were out of it. Waitress should’ve said so when handing out the menus. My food was extremely bland. Drinks and dessert were delicious. And why they call it by the water is beyond me. I won’t go back.

We arrived at 4:45 for our reservation and it was not busy yet so there were plenty of available tables. We were told that there were many reservations so we could only sit at a table for two. Ok we understood that but we DID booked for outside unfortunately the girl who sat us only gave us the option of a high top by the parking lot or a table literally IN the parking lot not even in the patio area. I couldn’t even believe they put a table there. Unfortunately we wound up sitting inside at a small table for two which was less than ideal, being told once again that all table were reserved like we just walked in without a reservation which was obviously not the case. The service & food were not bad (minus the broccoli rabe which was chopped and not that tasty) but the table & ambience were lacking. So when we left I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to see that two people were sat in the outside patio area at much nicer table/s than what were offered to us. On top of that the inside was still empty and even the outside was not that busy yet. They could have easily sat us at a 4 top inside or better yet gave us a nice table outside as I requested on the reservation. Being that it was Father’s Day & still empty we should have been accommodated & this was definitely not considerate at all. We also arrived dressed nicely while others were dressed in shorts & sneakers. I’m definitely feel we were not treated appropriately & this put a damper on our experience. I do wanna say our waitress Lisa M. was very nice & I took good care of her because it wouldn’t have been fair to take it out on her. My father lives nearby & they could have made new customers but unfortunately this first experience there left me no desire to return. Maybe they should consider hiring a hostess who knows how to mange time slots better in order to be more accommodating especially when it was early and still empty. If we were comfortable we would have stayed longer & had even more drinks. Lesson learned.

The name of the restaurant is very deceiving. I thought it would have been on the water. When I saw it wasn’t I wanted to leave. We ended up sitting outside looking at boats in dry dock and a parking lot. As far as the food and service both were good.

Everything we ate was delicious! Our server (I believe her name was Lisa) was fantastic. Whenever there was a slight hiccup with the kitchen (they were a little behind, but we didn't care because it gave us the time we wanted with our friends), she made up for it. My one and only feedback is that the cappuccino wasn't very good. Not even close to a deal breaker. I will be back.

The owner, Al was very gracious and professional and welcoming. The food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I had seafood Fra Diavlo and literally everything, the shrimp, mussels was off the charts fresh. will definitely be going back.

We decided to visit during brunch hours, craving something from their regular menu rather than the brunch offerings. The staff's response was heartwarmingly accommodating and sweet, ensuring our preferences were met with a smile. As for the food, it surpassed our expectations. My dish, the juicy and flavorful pork chop, was a delight to the taste buds. Meanwhile, my partner's chicken parmesan sandwich was perfectly cooked paired crispy fries! Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. While savoring our meal, we couldn't help but imagine how lively the atmosphere would have been with some background music. It would have been the perfect touch, especially on a bustling Memorial Day weekend. Nonetheless, this minor detail didn't overshadow the exceptional dining experience we had. We left with full bellies, satisfied hearts, and a strong desire to return soon. This establishment comes highly recommended for its delectable cuisine, attentive service, and inviting ambiance.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. Very nice place and food was delicious. Staff was very attentive and our server Paola so sweet and amazing. Inside seating was romantic and casual while the outside was more of a relaxing setting. Highly recommend this restaurant!
