The original, charismatic three-storey building, which dates back to the mid-1800s, stands proudly just over Telford Bridge on the River Wansbeck – a grand feature of the historic market town.

    This was recommended by a work colleague and she was bang on, the staff were very polite attentive but invisible and fulfilled every hope I had for my Wife’s Birthday meal, the food was delicious and presented perfectly, each course was so tasty, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was vibrant and lots of smiling faces, I will be back and have already passed on my recommendation to other staff and friends. Great Value for a lovely meal.

    Beautiful Sunday lunch ,very good portions very good selection and very good service, desserts were lovely .Just a must for good food.👍

    The food as always was beautiful, lovely flavours and well presented. I have been eating here since it opened and would fully recommend. My only gripe would be a change to the main menu’s !! As it has been the same for a long time, maybe fish and chips and a pasta or curry dish to mix it up. The starters get changed and are very very nice. But as for quality 5 ***** 👍👍👍👍👍
