The original, charismatic three-storey building, which dates back to the mid-1800s, stands proudly just over Telford Bridge on the River Wansbeck – a grand feature of the historic market town.

Superb Sunday Lunch served in a lovely setting by attentive staff. It was perfect for my wife’s birthday and our guests were mighty impressed! We will definitely be booking again soon and introducing some more friends to this gem!

Great food, best in Morpeth. Service was good although slightly disappointing they didn’t mention my husbands birthday as I had written it in the notes but other than that everything was really spot on and I think it’s really good value for the quality

A lovely family meal at the townhouse We had booked a table thinking we had our dog with us on the ground floor The staff accommodated us by moving furniture especially for us The food and service were very good

Table for 8, all had 3 courses. Excellent food, smooth service. Incredible value for money as well.

A wonderful find in our new hometown of Morpeth. An interesting Menu combining wonderful flavours and presentation. Great value for money and a fabulous selection of wines

Lovely restaurant with first class service. Not over crowded with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was very good although the ribeye steak my wife had was poor for the supplement paid. I would stick to their signature dishes.

Delicious food on hot plates (when necessary), white wine cold and delicious. Jug of water ready at the table. Delightful window seat upstairs with a view over the bridge, and a comfortable pleasant atmosphere that allowed us to chat without shouting.

As a party of 4 we enjoyed a delicious 3 course set menu lunch. We couldn’t fault any of the food we ate. Presentation was amazing especially the desserts, they were like a work of art. Staff very attentive.
