The original, charismatic three-storey building, which dates back to the mid-1800s, stands proudly just over Telford Bridge on the River Wansbeck – a grand feature of the historic market town.

    Really lovely place, we went on a Sunday and had a roast dinner, it was amazing,portion size was very generous aswell.

    Excellent as always . We keep going back (probably our 10th time eating here), what more of a recommendation can you give. Wonderful, polite and attentive staff ( without being too obtrusive) , excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere.

    First visit will certainly return. Every member of staff was cheerful, helpful and professional. The food was excellent, well presented and plentiful!

    We had a wonderful Sunday roast. Beef and vegetables were superb. Pudding of cheescake and sticky toffee pudding wete perfect. Lovely surroundings and friendly polite and respectful service. So grateful to have The Town House on out doorstep. Thank you

    We visited on Father’s Day and the food was amazing as always despite being very busy. This is such a lovely place, food is delicious and staff are so friendly and efficient. It’s our go to restaurant in Morpeth!
