Small plates, steaks, Home made burgers & hand crafted stone baked Pizzas are just some of the things on offer prepared in-house by our Head Chef Jordan and his team using only locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
All our Wines and a chunk of our spirit range is brought to us by our friends at Portal, Dingwall & Norris based in Emsworth stocking & supplying only the best wines and spirits.
We're mad keen on Cocktails too! Our list isn't huge but it's carefully selected featuring Classic and Contemporary cocktails showcasing what we do. We're so passionate about it that we only use fresh fruits and we make all our own syrups, settling for nothing but perfection. Fresh passion fruits in our Passion fruit Martini's and fresh figs and dates in our Espresso Martini. We spend a lot of time squeezing lemons and limes too and dehydrating our own fruit !

    Love bar 73! We’ve come here a few times for dinner & I wanted to try breakfast. It didn’t disappoint! Such a gem of a restaurant & different to all other eateries in Waterlooville. Staff are lovely too, and you can tell the manager has a great relationship with his colleagues (& regular custom too).

    Went for Brunch… Very nice , small breakfast , nicely presented , & taste good … Avocado & poached egg on bagel , also very nice & tasty … If having pot of T just get one pot plus cups!!

    The food was lovely, but I was disappointed that they don't put butter in the sandwiches. We asked for our food to come out all on one plate, as we noticed they were being served on slate. They bought our sandwiches out on a plate that was too small and still bought chips in a separate bowl. I understand that's how they do it, but I would have thought as we requested it altogether on one plate they may have accommodated us.

    This is unfortunately a lower score than I'd like to give and is based on my Sunday fathers day experience. I've been here a few times and really enjoyed the restaurant. My wife and I have had small plates and cocktails each time, all of which were very tasty, paired with very attentive staff and delightful cocktails. My most recent visit was Sunday for fathers day and I hadn't realised the main menu wasn't on (it didn;t state this on their website) and that they only served a roast. Not the end of the world and my fault for not checking, however, my family and I weren't impressed with what we received. The Garlic and roast potatoes had no flavour and were barely roasted - certainly not crispy. The home made gravy tasted like bisto instant gravy. The cauliflower steak was nothing more than roasted cauliflower. It would also have been great if they had more vegetarian options in the starters and mains beyond bread and olives and cauliflower steak as there are good options on the normal small plates menu. The cocktails were however as tasty as ever and the staff were attentive. This experience won't put me off going, I'll just ensure the main menu is on offer in the future.

    Unfortunately, this was our least favourite meals at Number 73, we love eating there as do all our family. We seemed to wait longer than usual and when our meals arrived mine was not hot but barely warm, as was my son’s, my daughter’s was okay. I returned mine to be heated up, then of course we are not all eating together. Just not up to their normal first class standards.
