tonight was our second time here and just as great as our first time! I’m stuck in the curry risotto and so excited my brother got the bo kno noodles and I didn’t have to convince him and i’m so glad he did because it tasted so much like my moms cooking but presented differently and that was very nice and i’m glad he got to try it.

Food was good and service was good. Only issue is we had to wait 30+ minutes past our reservation time to get our table. The manager apologized and gave us free appetizer cards to be used on our next visit but the restaurant is over an hr away so it’s unlikely to be a frequented spot.

Had the family meal for 5. Quite the abundance of food. More than enough to satisfy all 5 hungry people. Very conscientious of people's food sensitivities. All food was fresh and recipes were modified to make gluten and or dairy free if possible. Even told of possible cross contamination if that was a concern. The flavors are great and very refreshing. Highly recommended. The restaurant was completely filled. Only recommendation is to bring serving utensiles with the food being served family style so you don't have to wait to pass the dishes around.

2nd time at Vue. Our server the first time elevated the experience signifinfantly. We also ordered the best appetizers (Chili Oil Wontons) during our first experience and took a risk ordering items we simply haven’t tried before our second experience….the oysters were tasty but not filling and the octopus was not great (rubbery texture). The entrees were quality both times (beef check + crispy whole fish). The first time visiting Vue was a 10/10 due to server quality and ordering the appetizers he recommended. The 2nd time at Vue was good but relatively a let down due to a combination of significant decrease in quality of the server and us taking risks ordering the appetizers we simply haven’t tried before which was a mistake (particularly the Octopus being rubbery and overcooked). Our first experience here we left questioning whether we have had a better restaurant experience in the DC area over the past few years leaving us eager to return. Our second experience was a let down leaving us questioning whether we’d give it a third chance or not. I’d say yes now knowing what to order while also crossing my fingers hoping we get the server we had the first time…8/10 given the imprecision of quality

HIDDEN SERVICE CHARGE!! A 20% charge was added without prior notice and it was not gratuity!! Will tell everyone I know to not go because of that.

Loved every aspect of it except the noise from other customers. It was hard to have a discussion at the table.

Great and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Wonderful flavors….the Short rib pappardelle took me back to the Chinese beef stews of my childhood with the anise/fives spice flavors, with a twist…on pappardelle! The Green papaya Caesar salad was delectable as were the Chili oil wontons but with the right amount of heat, not overpowering. Will def be back to try more!!!

Salad had to much dressing, tofu was tough and coffee was lukewarm. Service and ambiance was very good.
