This restaurant was recommended & we did enjoy it. The positives were that our server, Samantha was so friendly, kind & funny. The food was very good, but a bit pricey for the choice & portion size. The reservation process was easy & they were very accomodating, however, I had requested outside & with no high top but when we checked in were told that a high top table was all they had outside. The staff was apologetic & found a lovely table for us inside. The noise level was a bit loud, but overall a nice experience!!

Would love to rate our experience at Nucky's better, but the service and some drink prices and 'extra' charges make that impossible. We had an individual in our party with a gluten allergy. When she asked the server about it, the server simply stated, 'we are not gluten-friendly'. Did not offer options. We asked if one of the appetizer specials was gluten-free and she said, 'I don't know, I'm not the chef, but it's just scallops and bacon". We had to ask her to check with the chef and turned out she couldn't have it. The lack of caring or understanding was terrible. She didn't know basic drinks and had to check to see if they had a specific Scotch. We were charged $33 for one Glenmorangie and a $2 extra charge for a large ice cube. Prices were not provided on the menu so my husband had two. $70 for 2 drinks?! I don't think so. Our bill also had a Convenience fee of 3% added to the entire bill. We waited over 15 minutes for our second round of drinks. The food itself was excellent, but the extravagant charges for drinks and ICE CUBES, plus an additional convenience fee, on top of the poor service, made this the first and last time we will eat here.

This was our first time at Nucky’s and we loved it. The food was delicious and the ambiance with the live music was great. We will definitely be back .

We had a nice experience at Nicky’s. Service was okay on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Not enough wait staff and lull between courses was long. Very noisy, so don’t go if you want a quiet meal. Would return.

Waitress was outstanding as well service from food runners and other servers. Very nice and informative. Noise from an adjacent table was overwhelming and disruptive. Food prices do not reflect quality of meal and did not meet expectations at all. $45 entrees that were mediocre was very disappointing. Will not be in a hurry to return or recommend.
