Nubeluz by José Andrés is a lightbox in the sky, bringing together the Spanish word for cloud (“nube”) and for light (“luz”). Located on the 50th floor of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, Nubeluz offers modern interpretations of classic cocktails and small bites coupled with remarkable 270-degree views of the New York City skyline.

The view is fantastic, but the service feels rushed. The waitstaff constantly make you feel pressured to finish your drink to free up the table. With a 90-minute limit, even ordering a bottle of wine doesn’t allow enough time to enjoy it. The food was disappointing, with only appetizers on the menu. We tried three, and none stood out.

Awesome place. Awesome rooftop. Best views in NYC with great music, fun, nice cocktails and good. And the best company. Would repeat 100%.

Amazing view, but so many people were having their own little photoshoots that it was difficult to enjoy. They desperately need a no flash photography policy. The music was too clubby for the decor and for the elevated experience one would hope for from the Ritz. The drinks were high quality. Excellent service. Expensive.

This is an amazing setting-- excellent views and nice decor. That is the main draw and the reason I think they can charge what they do. The food is quite good, but not exceptional like the setting and views. Not a ton of service is involved in a high tea, so adding usual tips as I always do to the already high price makes the high fixed charge even higher. I brought someone here to celebrate an important achievement in a memorable way, and it was a good occasion. We enjoyed the experience, views, decor and food, so no regrets. Mission accomplished.

Unbelievable views of the city and beyond in this ultra-chic bar buzzing with people dressed to impress. A great selection of mixed drinks and a good wine list. Plenty of non alcoholic choices too. At 5:30 it was pretty calm, by 6:30 it was filled. A real “experience”.
