This is a fictional story imagined by a fantastical myth about a geisha samurai named Noya.

During the ancient days of Japan, a woman named Noya lived. Born with supernatural powers, she was entrusted with protecting the social and culinary secrets of her mythical people, the Kumaso.

Born with the heart of a warrior Noya was named and taught to master the way of the arrow by Japan’s first samurai, Taira no Masakado. Her mystic artistry made her a formidable adversary to those who sought to uncover the gastronomical arts and secrets of the Kumaso people.

Gifted with the power of immortality, Noya has battled throughout the centuries and travelled far and wide to protect the delectable secrets that she holds dear.

First time at this restaurant and the place is beautifully decorated and had a lovely feel to it. There were a few issues that I felt needed feedback on. 1st - Ordered champagne and the bucket was placed on the table. When the table was small, this should’ve been placed on stand (which was unavailable). 2nd - Seating was very close and cramped. The restaurant wasn’t busy! But they wanted everyone sitting in the same area. 3rd - Main meal - Black cod was lacking seasoning, not even salt! Tasted so bland and the mushroom rice wasn’t any better. The best part of my meal was the dessert - Brownie with sorbet. Service was excellent! But the food was very disappointing.

Wonderful ambience and top class service. A fantastic evening out with high quality great tasting food. Two negatives they need to fix. They don't accept American Express which for a high-end dining establishment is unacceptable, and the prices are somewhat over inflated, despite the great quality and taste. I would return though. Loved it.

Noya Reception team couldn’t find my booking and said booking aren’t made on OpenTable? But Noya is still on OpenTable

Do not make reservations through open table! When we arrived they told us our booking doesn’t exist and open table are falsely advertising bookings. Reservations are made via seven rooms. Overall lovely restaurant, food was good, shisha was good, drinks were sweet/tasty and music was a vibe.

Great to finally see the inside of Noya, as a local resident I had watched its construction for awhile. The decor is great, it’s really giving high class west end vibes, staff were friendly, though the lady on reception never offered to take our coats on arrival, but did for the couple we observed, that entered as we left. Cocktails were great and the food was tasty, with plenty of options. It’s great to have an alternative to the Banc so local, however as with the Banc, the value for money proposition isn’t quite there. So I’ll more than likely be back, but maybe in a year or so

If you like sushi and small portion foods then it’s for you! A bit pricey but I’d say it’s tasty.

The most beautiful interior - very instagramable! Such nice vibes in both the restaurant and the shisha lounge. Food was really good although the mains were small portions and didn’t come with a side. A little more on the expensive side so definitely a treat… but will be treating myself again very soon!

The waiter started getting offended that i wanted to take DISCRETIONARY service charge off and made out it’s compulsory. Was appalled by his attitude the minute I suggested taking off the service charge. He told me it’s written all over the menu, which it was but as discretionary service charge. Do waiters not understand english? Why did he feel comfortable to challenge me taking service charge off when discretionary means optional. He made us feel so uncomfortable to the point we left the restaurant asap and didn’t really get to enjoy the rest of our evening there.
