One of Melbourne's most successful and popular not-for-profit social enterprises, Now and Not Yet, just over the road from the beautiful Yarra River, is a cafe worth visiting. Featured on channel nine postcards, our passionate chef team has worked for some of the industry's leaders, such as Stephanie Alexander. The classic Melbourne cafe menu offers all-day breakfast with the flavour-packed smashed avocado and a great selection of lunch options. The industrial character creates a welcome but funky environment that fits well into the beautiful leafy country in the city Warrandyte vibe.

Always great coffee and the food is amazing. Sadly they fogot the kids meals on this occasion- but didnt charge us for the milkshakes in the end as compensation. Love the location and the staff are friendly. Their commitment to the community is inspiring.

Now and not yet was a good dining experience for lunch. It was good value for money. You got a lot of food for what you paid for and we all enjoyed ourselves.

It is a lovely place and I love that they give profits to charity. But it was very noisy and I question whether they needed that background music as well. Selfie was quick and cheerful and good very fresh

How this place got anything above 3 star rating is incomprehensible. Coffee came out quick and had good flavour, however was quite weak. Food came out relatively quick too, however, I had issues with them. The porridge was good in terms of flavour and ingredients but was absolutely tiny for what it costed! Then came the burgers, I had the southern fried chicken and my wife had the beef. My wife seemed to enjoy her beef burger, but mine, it lacked actual chicken meat, had too much batter and the patties were burnt! It was so burnt and bitter that I couldn’t finish it, leaving almost half an expensive burger uneaten. We didn’t have the time to ask for a new one. The chips that accompanied the burgers were cold, unseasoned and tasted like cardboard. We couldn’t finish them either. Now onto the service.. whilst we were treated well to begin with, the young teenage waitress serving us seemed to try to rush us, asking us if we were finished when clearly we had so much food left! We drove 50 mins from Melbourne city to enjoy a family brunch, but left with a massive bill to pay and bitter taste in my mouth. Will know better next time not to venture here for food.
