NOVA Kitchen & Bar is an experiential dining destination, exploring the five elements—wood, fire, earth, metal and water—to engage and tantalize the five senses of taste, smell, sight, touch and sound. The result? An ethereal and magical experience. Inspired by the transient astronomical event of a moving star, Nova empowers guests to experience the five dimensions of life on earth like they never have before.

We have a strict 10 minute grace period for reservations. At least half of your party must be present to be seated. Parties who are running late should call the restaurant prior to your reservation time to ensure your reservation doesn't get canceled. There are no same day reservations on Friday and Saturdays. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Restaurant was nearly completely empty when we got there and stayed fairly empty. Service was poor. Rarely saw our waiter, had to continually ask for water and had to track him down to take our order. Some of the food was good but some just so/so.

My wife and I came in for our anniversary dinner and waited over an hour and a half for our food to come. We asked our server to check on the food and it turns out she forgot to put it in. We paid for our drinks and left.

Well, we were craving asian food. This place has very few vegetables. I asked for bok choy in soy and garlic, and it was soggy. It aslo was white instead of green, which I just have never seen. The double hamachi roll was VERY good and the other rolls looked fresh. They have soup dumplings which taste good, but they color them with FOOD DYE, which was extremely unappetizing. My miso soup was WAY too salty (I know it is supposed to be salty, but it was hard for me to drink, and miso soup is a favorite food.) My green tea was not piping hot. The server was amazing and so very kind that we did not mention any of the above. But I cannot recommend this place.

Our party of 4 had a reservation at 5:45, and we were seated promptly by a very friendly hostess. Our server was very attentive and made good suggestions regarding the menu when we asked. We ordered the mushroom toast, brussel sprouts, scallops, and salmon skin salad for starters. Everything was very tasty. The salmon skin was a little overly crispy and dry but still a good salad. We also ordered the Korean short ribs, salmon, and duck for entrees. They were all delicious, and the portions were fairly generous, especially the short ribs. The bus boy and waiter kept our water glasses filled and switched out our small plates for clean ones. The only negative I have to say is that the lighting was a little too low. It was somewhat hard to read the menu in such dark lighting. Overall, we were very pleased with our meal and entire experience and would come again.

The ambiance is very cool. It feels like a John wick movie. The food was not good. I don’t like how meals come out as they are ready because some of us were done eating before others had their meal. I have had better sushi in Virginia. Not worth the cost at all.

Cocktails and ambiance were great. Service was initially good but then they forgot about us at the end and we waited a long time for the check, more than 20 minutes after they cleared the plates. Food was good, but could have been more flavorful.

Been here for times. The first time was very impressive with everything, but then it's all downhill. I was here for my father's day brunch and it was all disappointing. The food was below average, we were there at 10:30 I. The morning, but the beef looks like it's been sitting on the cutting board all day. I'm not sure how much longer this place will be in business if this is how they run it.
