Had a team lunch today and every single person really liked their meal. The menu is large and diverse so there is something for everyone, and it is all delicious. The service was friendly, and knowledgeable. The restaurant got really busy by the time we were leaving and the manager/kitchen staff helped out which demonstrated it is a nice place to work. Good people. Great food.

Helpful and energetic server. She made great suggestions for meals. All 3 of us order one of her recommendations all were satisfied. All have a great meal when we can come here

Easy reservation, easy and fast seating, pleasant, responsive service, great focaccia bread and dip, excellent food choices, excellent temperature and taste of food and great company. What more could one want from a local restaurant?

Service was subpar. Very slow, not attentive. Food was horrible could have made better meal at home. Salads looked like they came out of the bag. Chicken on top of salad looked like the last pieces available in the kitchen. Horrible. Will never go again with my family.

There was nothing good. The food was poor all around. Every staff from host to waitress to manager had attitudes and were behaving like they didn’t want to be there. Eye rolls if we asked for something like a refill of water. Had to ask multiple times for things. Presentation was sloppy. Some dishes cooked incorrectly. Soup still hasn’t shown up. This is second poor service experience in a row there. Time to move on

Worst were the cheesesteak eggrolls - the eggroll shells were soggy and the meat/cheese mix inside was very similar to canned dog food. And tasteless. I’ve been an NYAJ regular at many locations for about 15 years. I know they have been going downhill and many locations have closed. This was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The focaccia and garlic dip used to be a wonderful starter - this bread was dried up and almost inedible. My fish and chips were okay but nearly as good as some years ago. We won’t be back.

We used to frequent NYAJ, however, we lost enthusiasm because the menu seemed old and stagnant. What once seemed inventive or adventurous was beginning to feel outdated and repetitive. Our visits became much less frequent once we changed locations. This most recent dining experience was our first visit in about a year, and it felt like a pleasant surprise. For starters, the menus are different. The appearance and format alone can be welcome changes. I also liked how they added some new concepts such as two wraps on homemade wraps. That little touch made it feel different and creative.
