Disappointed that the menu posted online is not the same menu offered at the table as we had already planned what we wanted to eat since the choices for my wife are limited. Brussels and Brie and the Plank Salmon have been her favorites there for years. We arrive to see no Brussels and no plank salmon (which are still online as of this morning). The only non-meat app for her was the Fried Artichokes and the only fish was the Miso Salmon (she's had the scallops and they were not good when she had them last time, she said). The artichokes were over-cooked and nearly inedible (she pretty much hated them & I managed to choke them down with a lot of marinara) and the salmon miso dish was disappointing as the rice cake was gummy, veggies were undercooked, and the sauce was bitter (salmon was cooked perfectly BTW). My meatball app was amazing as always and I had a mushroom shared from out friends that was superb. It was nice for the kitchen to split our salmon dish and our server was attentive (although she should learn to not lean across the table to place/gather plates and serve from behind as to not interrupt guests' conversation). They finally turned down the obnoxious throbbing "untz-untz" music in the dining room, so that's a plus for folks trying to enjoy each others company without yelling over the nightclub beat. Plenty of other places in Raleigh to eat with a better cross-section of menu choices and better value for the money, so this was probably our last time here.

Our waitress, Alecia, was fantastic and the Short Ribs were outstanding.

Excellent food and drinks! I had the “really”old fashion and my date had the black and blue martini. For the meal we had the gnocchi and beef and the hashtag tuna. Both amazing! The noise level was moderate in the patio area and the AC was set a little too cool. But one of our favorite places overall.

Food excellent as always. We could see our server was committed to a lot of tables but he kept hustling and maintained a positive mindset throughout our time there.

The staff was polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. we both ordered the prime rib special and it was a delicious meal. A great place to go for apps at the bar or for a fantastic meal.

We both ordered the pork picada-ish dish and it was delicious. Our waiter was amazing and provided the perfect service and attention. Great dinner!

Northside Bistro never disappoints. Their menu changes whenever we go but they are always so good. Keep it up!

I had a pleasant meal with my customer and he enjoyed his miso salmon. The duck confit was not good. It was over roasted and dry. Confit should be soft and unctuous. It's a bit noisy for business conversation, but not objectionable for a social event. The octopus was really good.
