                                                                          Our first time trying the Steakhouse at the American Place casino. Acceptable, but sadly overpriced entrees. If you have Comp points from casino play (we did) it will make the cost seem more reasonable. The jumbo lobster tail was properly prepared and served with lemon butter. The asparagus was not good - it was swimming in oil. The NY strip steak with peppercorn crust was very good. Because it was our wedding anniversary they comped us each a dessert, and that was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, not bad if you're able to use comp points, but probably overpriced otherwise.

                                                                          I chose this restaurant based on the reviews and menu. I’ll be honest, when I first walked in, I was a little worried. It didn’t have that upscale feel that I expected when I saw the sophisticated menu and prices. You can tell they are trying but something about the ambience just wasn’t there. **BUT THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.** Everyone was beyond happy with everything they ordered: ribeye, beef tenderloin, trout & sides.

                                                                          Went on date night with my wife. We have been there before, and everything was amazing. This time, my wife's steak was ordered med/rare, and when it came to the table, it was med/well and dried out. The steak was sent back, and the replacement steak was better still not perfect. Everything else was exceptional, including how well we were taken care of by the staff.

                                                                          Food was great and the service was excellent. The building being temporary did not match the quality of the food. But the food and the service made you forget about the ambiance.

                                                                          This is a hidden gem. People whether they go to the casino or not shouod be made aware of it. The food is always consistent. Prices are competitve with other steak and seafood restaurants. Enjoyed as always!

                                                                          Crab cake was good. Lobster bisque soup was disappointing and the rib eye was overcooked. Also, did not like being charged for bread.

                                                                          Overall a great place to eat. Our server was wonderful, funny, very helpful. Only gripe was our appetizer came out with the main meal. But great value. My filet tasted awesome.
