North Point Kitchen + Bar opened in 2023 by the Gilbert family, lifelong residents to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. After years of working and running restaurant establishments and working with his company Butter & biscuit Co. at local farmers markets, Joel has established great friendships and partnerships with some of the best local farmers. Joel took this opportunity to use the best seasonal products for his Italian inspired cuisine. Come enjoy the beautiful sunsets on our outdoor patio overlooking Forest Lake, or enjoy a table in our panoramic indoor patio, year round.

The venue and the staff are excellent! We have been here before and are likely to return. The menu is very limited and can be tricky to choose something simple. I ordered the chicken piccata sandwich and was very surprised not to see any actual capers. It seemed like it was a flavoring in the lemon sauce? I was disappointed but it still tasted pretty good. Charging 2$ for the Parmesan herb spice on the fries seemed like a lot, but we enjoyed them. I want to mention the staff again. They were very friendly and very attentive. The venue is lovely and we look forward to enjoying the outside area sometime soon.

Awesome restaurant in the Lake Zurich area. Cocktails are the best around.

First time and very much enjoyed! A little warm while we were sitting inside so some ceiling fans would be good.

The staff to greet us, the decor of the restaurant, and the service at our table were top-notch. The food was delicious and fresh.

First time. Cant recommend more highly!!! Food was interesting and done perfectly. Our party of 4 loved the entire experience. Smashburger, meatballs, hot honey chicken and the pizza were all fantastic. Oh and the Parmesan fries are dangerously addictive. Top shelf liquor at the bar poured by a true mixologist. Our new fave. Will go back in a couple of days.

Saturday eve, outdoor patio was busy indoor was not. Took at least 15 min to get our first drink. Our waiter was friendly, food was pretty good.

So excited to see a new place. Loved the idea- next to the lake, comfortable atmosphere and a lovely setting. The food is good, as was the service. The last time we went it was sooooooo loud we had to pop outside for a bit.

Small menu, but everyone in our group ordered something different and it was all delicious! Staff was very accomodating with our group and the waitstaff did check in on us regularly. Very happy to see that North Point is doing well and hope that it continues to be successful.

We are local and Thai is our first time in and was very impressed …. Welcome to the neighbor hood !!! Love having a little hidden gem so close to. We look forward to stopping in again
