North Point Kitchen + Bar opened in 2023 by the Gilbert family, lifelong residents to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. After years of working and running restaurant establishments and working with his company Butter & biscuit Co. at local farmers markets, Joel has established great friendships and partnerships with some of the best local farmers. Joel took this opportunity to use the best seasonal products for his Italian inspired cuisine. Come enjoy the beautiful sunsets on our outdoor patio overlooking Forest Lake, or enjoy a table in our panoramic indoor patio, year round.

Saturday eve, outdoor patio was busy indoor was not. Took at least 15 min to get our first drink. Our waiter was friendly, food was pretty good.

Small menu, but everyone in our group ordered something different and it was all delicious! Staff was very accomodating with our group and the waitstaff did check in on us regularly. Very happy to see that North Point is doing well and hope that it continues to be successful.

We are local and Thai is our first time in and was very impressed …. Welcome to the neighbor hood !!! Love having a little hidden gem so close to. We look forward to stopping in again

We visit North Point weekly for its delicious food and great staff. It's our go-to for date nights, dinners with neighbors, and amazing cocktails. We love everything on the menu and are excited about the new seasonal additions and the outdoor seating with spectacular lake views. Shout out to Tanner and Adi for always being so welcoming! ~Val

What a great summer night out on the patio. We enjoyed some cocktails as well as apps and a pizza. The patio is perfect & the service was wonderful. We will be back. The Gin drink is fire!
