North Point Kitchen + Bar opened in 2023 by the Gilbert family, lifelong residents to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. After years of working and running restaurant establishments and working with his company Butter & biscuit Co. at local farmers markets, Joel has established great friendships and partnerships with some of the best local farmers. Joel took this opportunity to use the best seasonal products for his Italian inspired cuisine. Come enjoy the beautiful sunsets on our outdoor patio overlooking Forest Lake, or enjoy a table in our panoramic indoor patio, year round.

We ate outside overlooking the lake. Stunning view. Friendly service and delicious food. My husband and I will definitely be back!

We LOVED this place. Stumbled upon it and will go back again and again. We sat outside and felt like we were on a mini vacation. My husband and our friends LOVED the truffle deviled eggs. I am not a truffle fan so I didn't taste them. The four cheese pizza was delicious. Our friend said it was the best pizza he has ever had. The smash burgers were awesome as was the salmon. Great find!

Really nice setting and good service. Just think the Sunday hours should be longer. Closing at 6:00 pm Is early.

Delightful smaller venue with some shaded outdoor seating. Right on the lake and easy to find/ park. Modest menu but some interesting offerings. Indoor tables and bar area. Appears newer.

Service was a bit slow but drinks were great and food was excellent' on of the better veal dishes I've ever had!!

A hidden Gem in Lake Zurich. North Port Kitchen + Bar. 24238 N Lakeside Dr. lovely outside patio overlooking Forest Lake, beautiful spacious indoor seating and separated bar. Appetizers are large and unique, sandwiches are huge and delicious, and limited main dishes are gourmet Italian. Moderate++ prices. Waitstaff were attentive and knowledgable. Owner is chef. Support local businesses!

Hidden gem. Excellent cocktails and great food. Service was efficient and friendly. Very loud- noise bounces off walls/ceilings but worth going to.
