Food was absolutely delicious. Drink service a little slow. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we were served fairly quickly but by 7 it was very busy and the service and attention had slowed down.

I avoid dining outdoor in DC during the summer bc of the mosquitos. Strangely even though we dined inside here, there were lots of mosquitoes. My friend managed to get rid of a couple of them before the meal started, but I got bitten several times on my legs still during the meal. However the food we ordered was all very yummy (margarita pizza, pasta bolognese, kale salad, chicken parm).

Besides being very loud - we had a great dinner at North Italia. Our server Tay was phenomenal and made it a great experience!

Sat at the bar after an early arrival. Nice waiter but a little distracted by her phone. Seemed new. Ordered a bottle of wine and we each ordered a pasta - Bolognese on Pappardelle and Rigatoni in vodka sauce with sausage and pancetta (my dish). Both were excellent and mine was extra spicy. We asked for bread and 2 of 4 pieces were stale. No butter or olive offered. Also ordered a bottle of Delille Cellars 2021 D2 for $72 which is a great value considering the wine at retail is $40. Overall a good experience. Pasta would make me go back.

This is a great restaurant for its price point or compared to any casual dining experience. Much better value than a competitor nearby that is always more crowded. The food is very good and reliable. We particularly like the funghi pizza and salmon with pesto. Service is friendly but not intrusive. One is always greeted warmly on arrival and our table has always been ready for us. They are very accommodating about special requests, such as table or small tweaks to the recipe. Wine is available by glass (choice of 6 oz or terzo) or bottle. If a mid-price great value casual restaurant with food at top of its class is what you're looking for, highly recommend.

Really nice little place to eat, my partner had the vodka pasta which was delicious. I had the spaghetti bolognese which was coined as the house speciality, but I found the pasta to be to soft for my liking, it didn’t seem particularly busy, even then the waitstaff seemed to be too busy to provide adequate service. We had difficulties paying, which eventually got resolved. BUT, to note for tourists and future guests, they do not accept contactless card payments, all payment were taken through a website and you cannot complete payment with a foreign card, so be sure to bring cash or a physical card.

Service was spotty. Server not very engaged, not only at our table, but we noticed at other tables too. Took forever to get order taken, drinks delivered, etc., then server completely disappeared. Food was meh.
