Jeffrey is your best waiter. He knows the dishes really well and his recommendations are ALWAYS spot-on. Every time I come I hoping he's going to be my waiter. I know I can follow him blindly (something I rarely do). Don't get me wrong, other waiters are not bad, but he is so much better. And my friend from out of town agrees with me. He still remembers and talks about Jeffrey 3 months after his last meal at North Italia.

Nice night at this restaurant. The caesar salad was delicious . Chicken parm comes with pasta and cheese no sauce. That was a bit disappointing.

Gabriela was our Waitress , she was very helpful and her service was amazing. Everything she suggested was on point. Food was amazing!

We tried the Calamari, Fungi pizza and chicken parmigiana. They were all good. Each were slightly different than the traditional, but in a good way. Fore example, the chicken parmigiana had a little tomato sauce, but the pasta that came with it had a cream sauce which created a nice balance for the plate. We were visiting from out of town and had made a dinner reservation. Didn’t know what to expect, but it was loud and lively with a lot of diners and a full bar. Service was quick. Good energy.

The food and service were both excellent. We had a large-ish party that grew by 2 between when reservation was made and when we dined but the restaurant accommodated us happily. The server was polite, attentive w/o hovering, and very knowledgeable about the food. Also very accommodating when we asked him to take pictures of our group. The environment is beautiful but the restaurant could use some subtle baffling, as my only (slight) complaint is that it is VERY loud.

We visit this restaurant every time we visit DC and usually love it. We went for a celebration dinner this evening and sat outside because it was a beautiful night. There were bugs everywhere and landed all in my wine - luckily they did bring me new wine to replace. But it was terribly difficult to get any service at all! My husband sat almost the whole meal with no water and I ended up having to bring the check up myself because the waitress never returned. It’s usually a good spot but definitely disappointed this trip - not sure if we will return when there are so many great spots in the city!
