The food and the portions are good, the service is awful, I asked my waiter for another knife and he said “oh Jesus!”, he was rude and he kind of threw the dishes.

Our server Trayvon C was great and took the time to ask about allergies which seldomly happens. Because of his inquiry we potentially avoided an allergic reaction. We were going to order meatballs not realizing that eggs, which are an allergy concern for a party member, are used in making the dish. We appreciated his attention to detail.

North Italia never disappoints. We’re frequent patrons - this time after a Sunday matinee at the Kennedy Center. It was the perfect choice! At 5 pm, we had our choice of tables (ALWAYS make a reservation!) and our food came out very quickly. Our server was very good and our meals delicious. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe Arancini and Meatball starters and the Strozzapreti pasta! Paired with a bottle of Barbera, you can’t go wrong! Enjoy!

Service started well but declined after a shift change, and our table fell between the cracks. Honey prosciutto pizza, which I have enjoyed several times including in the prior week, was inedible. I asked that they cook it a bit more, but it didn’t help. Very little care went into that dish. Other dishes were fine.

Wonderful meal. We got to the restaurant 30 minutes before our reservation and they were so nice to seat us early. The service was wonderful and it was fun trying a little bit of everything on the menu. Fresh ingredients and I loved the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. We’re already planning another visit back when we’re back in the area! A little pricy but that’s also everywhere in DC.
