The food is always good, but the eggplant was much better when it was in the skillet. It was just on a plate so it wasn’t as warm and gooey as I would have liked. It got cold quickly sitting on a plate

I ordered the short ribs entree. When it arrived, there were two short ribs on top of risotto. One was meaty but the second one was completely fat. I sent it back and was told by the chef that they are always like that so they balance it out with one meaty one and one fat one which is ridiculous for the price. I ended up not eating an entree at all since by the time they brought out my second choice that my waiter suggested was not very good and everyone else were done with their meals. Other than that, we enjoyed the restaurant.

Great experience at North Italia restaurant. Had a birthday brunch for my girlfriends and the food was amazing, lots of gluten-free options and the chef was very meticulous about our food allergies to nuts. I gave this place a five star and yes, I am coming back. The pasta was amazing !!

It was a Sunday night and we had a 6:15 reservation. We were seated immediately, but then service was VERY slow. They were out of lasagna. Every menu item I asked about, the server had a negative reaction. Then, for dessert, I ordered an affogato. Coffee comes from the bar and gelato from the kitchen. It took forever to be served because, “the kitchen and bar don’t talk or coordinate.” The dinner was 2 hours long. I won’t go back.

Where was the management on Friday, 12/6? I had raved about North Italia to a friend I treated for her birthday (which I also noted on OpenTable, yet there was no acknowledgment). We had a 7:30 reservation. Upon arriving, I noticed the restroom was out of both toilet paper and paper towels, which I informed the host about. Once seated, we were placed near the patio door where people were constantly coming and going. While we managed by keeping our jackets on despite the 32-degree weather, the real issue was the poor service. Our server brought us the wrong pizza, and we ultimately decided not to exchange it. Drinks took an excessively long time—not because of the bartender, but because our server delayed bringing them. We eventually went to the bar to get them ourselves. For the price point, I expected a far better experience. This felt more like a night at Chili’s than a visit to North Italia. I’m hesitant to return, though I might consider trying lunch instead.
