Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently voted BEST Restaurant in the 2024 Readers Choice Dining Awards by Orlando Magazine. Also named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine!

Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR Mon-Friday from 5:00- 7:00PM, $10 Cocktails, $8 wines by the glass & various Tapas creations. DRESS CODE:

Johnny is a top notch server. He was very accommodating and took the time to explain everything. The food was excellent. We had the octopus as an appetizer and it was so tender and delicious. I had the scallops as my main and it was amazing

Normans is a very romantic, dimly lit, contemporary and quiet restaurant. The offerings are Latin, caribbean, European fusion. My party ordered Lamb Chops, Grouper, foie grass French toast and oysters. Keep in mind the menu changes to reflect seaonally fresh produce. Oysters were delicious. Foie gras French toast was not a hit as the sauce overwhelmed the flavor of the dish. The grouper was cooked perfectly but lack seasoning as it was paired with 2 sauces. The original grouper offering during summer had better flavor in our opinion. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly as well. Decent flavor. Loved the ambience, loved the service and loved our waiter.

Exceptional experience. Food was outstanding, wine and cocktails are world class and staff was incredible. One of the best restaurants in Orlando.

I celebrated my 42 birthday at Norman’s with a group of 6 ppl. Intimate dinner in the covered outdoor area. Norman’s was so accommodating and the food is top notch as well as the service. They even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne with dessert. Amazing place!

It was horrible I waited 3 hours for no food it was my husband bday ,it was ruined they tried to make it up but it was too late the night was ruined and just wanted to go home,I’ll never come back and it was my first time there

I had a wonderful evening at Norman’s Orlando. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and impeccable presentation. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for a special night out! (Scallop Mushroom Risotto was amazing!!!) (And very special thanks to “Brendan, Haley, Isabel and other team members 🫶🏻❤️)!

This restaurant continues to surprise and delight. Had their Tasting menu and the food and wines were superb. Shout out to Autumn in the lounge, great cocktails and service.

Made a reservation for my parents’ 40th anniversary and had a wonderful, first-time experience! Our server, Haley, was so kind and provided superb service. We appreciated the restaurant’s detailed service and their efforts towards making my parents’ experience a celebratory one, from the personalized menus, the scallop crudo starter (compliments from the chef), “Happy Anniversary” edible signage on both desserts with Haley’s complimentary champagne pairing, and the chocolate “besitos” to conclude our dining experience. Loved the interior and feel of the main dining room. I also appreciated the management walking to our table twice to not only greet my parents but thank us for joining them to celebrate our family occasion. It was absolutely fabulous and met my expectations for a restaurant of that quality and caliber. Would definitely like to explore the bar and terrace areas for another Norman’s experience!

My husband and I used to go to Norman‘s when they were at the JW Marriott and it was totally a different experience. It doesn’t feel as luxurious. The food was good but nothing to make us want to come back. The service was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night for my husband’s birthday. Maybe we would give it one more chance on a weekend.
