Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently voted BEST Restaurant in the 2024 Readers Choice Dining Awards by Orlando Magazine. Also named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine!

Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR: Every Day 5:00- 7:00PM, $10 Cocktails, $8 wines by the glass & various Tapas creations.
DRESS CODE:
Dining Room: Smart Casual/ Smart Dress (jackets are not required)

Wow! Dinner was phenomenal. Service was great! Johnny was well versed with the menu and we really enjoyed our evening

Greeted warmly. Offered inside or outside rooftop dining and selected outside. Was perfect. Lots of personal attention. Selected tasting menu and it was outstanding. Rather than wine pairing, asked for 2 half pours to pair best with the courses and that was well considered. I’ll be back!

Food was outstanding. Johnny our server was excellent. Our sommelier was excellent. Only downfall is that Norman's is in the tourist corridor so it is noticeably overpriced for locals. Would go again but you can find experiences just as good for $100 less going further away from tourist area.

Classy set up. Service was excellent. Foods were somewhat disappointed. The risotto was overcooked and too thick. It should be more “a la dente”. As for the steaks, the meat was tender but too much salt was sprinkled on top at the end.

Outstanding experience. Despite a fish entree that fell short of expectations (management comped the entree plus dessert), we would definitely return. Becka (sp?) and her supporting team provided outstanding service; creative menu; all our other menu choices (crab beignets, foie gras, house salad, filet mignon, Chocoflan dessert) were beautifully presented and well-prepared; dining room, while somewhat noisy, provides a great setting for a special meal. Highly recommended.

Family New Year's dinner. They were overwhelmed. Our table was not available we ended up having dinner at the bar. Service was very good despite the lack of support from the kitchen and bar

A destination worth the travel from any destination. A very attentive staff that is knowledgeable about preparation and presentation. The food is an epicurean journey from the chef's treat to the last bite.
