Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently voted BEST Restaurant in the 2024 Readers Choice Dining Awards by Orlando Magazine. Also named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine!

Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR: Every Day 5:00- 7:00PM, $10 Cocktails, $8 wines by the glass & various Tapas creations.
DRESS CODE:

Norman’s is a 10/10 experience! From the impeccable service of our server to the high-quality recommendations of our Somalia, Norman‘s stands above the rest! Norman’s is not an inexpensive meal, but if you value the highest quality service and food experience, the Norman’s is the place for you! My wife and I go regularly and certainly on special occasions!

We dined here for our anniversary while on a trip to Disney. The service was fantastic as was the food. Best steak I’ve ever had!! But the music…oh she was amazing. We were told it was the first time she had performed indoors and it was due to the cold weather and no seating on the patio. I say keep her indoors! It was so lovely to listen to her soothing voice while eating.

Autumn gave excellent service as well as the sommelier Asher. Christina the AGM was very welcoming and made sure we had the best experience. Highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. If you looking for excellent service and friendly staff this is the place for you.

Norman's remains our go-to for fine dining in the area. It is perfect for a relaxing meal prior to a show, celebration of a special occasion, or even just to share some outstanding food and service with family , friends, colleagues -- anyone with an appreciation for quality and the finest hospitality. The general dining ambience includes plush seating, lowly lit overhead and wall lighting with discrete miniature lamps on each table, and a quiet to moderate noise level. The staff -- from the optional valet to the wait staff -- are thoughtful, efficient, and accommodating. The wait staff especially are personable, engaging, and committed to delivering an outstanding fine dining experience. During our last visit, the three of us started with cocktails and wine, the latter recommended by the restaurant's sommelier. We thoroughly enjoyed the amuse-bouche of the day from the chef, followed by an equally split house salad (the original plate was generous and splitting it worked out well), and an exquisite beef tartare appetizer which was served with finely sliced plantain chips. The concurrent warm bread service was also outstanding, accompanied with a side offering of oil and butter. Our entrees included an excellently prepared salmon, a tasty grouper dish paired with delicious Brussels sprouts, and a delightful medium-rare filet mignon that just melted in one's mouth. We made sure to save some room for dessert and ordered a cheesecake, ice cream, and the requested components of an affogato (espresso poured over ice cream). Every visit to Norman's is just as consistent in the quality and service delivered, it's that proven reliability that has made it my go-to for Orlando.

Greeted warmly. Offered inside or outside rooftop dining and selected outside. Was perfect. Lots of personal attention. Selected tasting menu and it was outstanding. Rather than wine pairing, asked for 2 half pours to pair best with the courses and that was well considered. I’ll be back!

Food was outstanding. Johnny our server was excellent. Our sommelier was excellent. Only downfall is that Norman's is in the tourist corridor so it is noticeably overpriced for locals. Would go again but you can find experiences just as good for $100 less going further away from tourist area.
