Located off of Sand Lake Road, along the city's famed "Restaurant Row", NORMAN’S was recently named as the TOP Florida Restaurant in 2024 by Southern Living Magazine, and one of the HOTTEST Restaurants in Orlando by Eater Miami! Norman Van Aken is a restaurateur, chef, author, and James Beard recipient of “Who’s Who in America" regarded as the “Founder” of New World Cuisine.”

Our restaurant offers a creative culinary and mixology experience, including an extensive wine list. We offer our main dining room, two private dining rooms, and our interior bar/lounge. Our elegant, covered Terrace offers alfresco dining, with live music on Friday nights, & a DJ on Friday/Saturday.

HAPPY HOUR Mon-Friday from 5:00- 7:00PM, specials on wines by the glass, wells/cocktails and various small plate creations.
DINING ROOM: Smart Casual/ Smart Dress- jackets are not required.... No Shorts, tanks tops, baseball caps, or flip flops
TERRACE: Resort Casual No gym apparel, tank tops, or flip flops

Host/manager was fantastic and very helpful.. Food was overall very good--cooked exactly to our liking with creative flavoring. Portion size was a good balance between just right and generous. Wild Mushroom risotto that we had was a bit under seasoned/lacking in flavor--but everything else was great. Server seemed a little inexperienced/nervous--but was clearly trying his best and was very nice. Pacing of the meal was also excellent-- the courses were brought out at just the right pace and we never felt rushed.

We thought we’d try Norman’s as they had the magical dining menu. First time here and probably last. Couldn’t fault the service, excellent. Food was good but just not enough of it. I can’t see the regular menu being any different except a slightly larger fillet . Only one Pinot Noir by the glass on the wine menu and super expensive and not a very nice one at that. Our friends don’t drink so had unsweetened ice tea. They actually charged for refills, come on, I don’t know of any restaurants that charge for refills of a t bag with a bit of water. The decor is nice but ambience was spoiled by being so noisy, we could hardly hear each other speak. Maybe their acoustics need to be addressed. All in all a pleasant night but I wouldn’t hurry back.

Overpriced. The grouper was fine but the $75 ribeye steak was served sliced and cold. Super disappointed

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Norman's, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere immediately sets the tone with its elegant yet welcoming ambiance. All in all, this dining experience was flawless. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a memorable night out, this restaurant delivers in every way. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu! Highly recommended!

Service is impeccable and professional. Ambience is welcoming and comfortable. Suggest Norman’s for celebrating a special occasion. We had the yellow tail snapper. Very good.
