NoPo — an acronym for North Post Oak, which is designed to describe the emerging neighborhood that sits east of Spring Branch, north of the Galleria and west of Timbergrove — was termed by Berg Hospitality Group owner and founder, Benjamin Berg. Located at 1244 North Post Oak Rd., NoPo Café, Market & Bar is an all-day concept serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features a variety of egg dishes and pastries for breakfast along with lunch and dinner options of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and entrées; plus wine and cocktail specials for weekday happy hour.

Guests can enjoy café seating in the front and a 36-seat dining room in the back along with a 6-seat full-service bar. The rustic yet fresh, French country design includes white birch floors, high ceilings with chandeliers, vintage rodeo wall décor and a custom-made pewter bar.

Great food as always - we had the Rueben and the club sandwich. Our server was great, as she always is. We’ll be back!

I have been dining here for two years and it is always been a pleasure. From the cute and quaint café to the restaurant service and food has always been outstanding. Cheesecake is amazing. The chicken sandwich is number one!

Great place, perfect for meeting friends for lunch, or going out to lunch with coworkers, or date night. The food is great, the staff is friendly, it is also family friendly place. The staff is attentive and courteous. The service was great and the ambiance was so nice.

I would be heartbroken if this establishment no longer existed. Each time I dine here I feel like I’m with friends. The manager Brian, actually remembered my favorite cocktail. The servers are attentive and thoughtful. When anyone asks me for a recommendation for a great restaurant, I always encourage them to experience the casual/ elegant No Po. Thank you.

My friend and I really enjoyed everything about this place. We ordered from Houston Restaurant Weeks menu and the portions were bigger than expected and all was delicious. Service was great. We definitely want to come back.

We were seated, given water and told our server would be right with us. There were 3 other tables of diners for a total of 11 guests in the restaurant. The water tasted like it came from an 80s garden hose so was looking forward to a cocktail. After sitting for more than 12 minutes with absolutely no server, we walked out. As we passed a back room, there were 2 servers sitting and chatting/laughing. No excuse for not doing their job. We will not return. Disappointing for a Berg establishment.

This has been a favorite spot of ours! However they have changed the menu and removed some of our favorite items. The NoPo salad with shrimp and hearts of palm is no longer on the menu. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were great but I really miss the salad! It was extremely loud for a Saturday lunch crowd but just a busy afternoon and people enjoying themselves.

The food was amazing!! They were so accommodating. I have a nut & gluten allergy. They adjusted the dishes for me & the food was so good. Presentation was beautiful, our waitress was so nice & the restaurant was cheerful and bright! Nice dinner!
