Nopa is one of kind for sure, it captures the essence of rustic yet luxurious dining. The service & ambience is amazing and the food is unbelievable, it’s the perfect balance between comfort foods and fusion creative tastes. I would highly recommend the stake (medium) and the mushroom soup. The only problem we encountered was parking, but nothing a scooter or an uber can’t fix. Overall for me this place is 11/10, definitely a MUST if you’re in SF.

Dining as a party of one I kind of expect superb service, meaning a waiter might give some social time to the guest. You can tell right away people that would rather have some privacy. But I am gregarious and outgoing and conversational you could miss the personality type even if you were trying. So I was disappointed in the I’ll take your order the drop of your courses. I mean really? I know a waiter would rather a large table that would incur a large bill but I ordered some of the best available. My scotch cost almost as much as my entree which was the most expensive one, AND in order four courses! Oh well, the food was delicious w the exception of some potatoes garnishing my entree were over cooked. But that meant very little with quality of all the other food being top notch! All in all a nice experience, my fourth visit to NOPA. That waiter needs to grow some social skills.

We’ve been coming regularly since Nooa opened. Last night my partner ordered a Nopa burger and asked if they could make a fried egg for him on the side. Our wait staff asked the kitchen, but they said no. The table next to us got poached eggs. Now he won’t go back to Nopa anymore.

we have been coming here for over 25 years, have always had great dinner, service, in the last 6-8 months 15-30 min for our table, food coming out very slow. Our Apps and our Entree would come out at the same time. When ever Lawrence & Holley were present this never happened. We will still continue to suport, we just hope that this get fixed soon. a big plus Nopa has one of the best bars in the City. Thanks, Bill M

Once again NOPA delivers on our dining experience. The food was delicious. We had wood baked beans, winter vegetable tagine , braised greens, and little gems salad. Service ( Felix & Rachel ) was very attentive. We will be going back soon.

The outdoor seating was poor; it was cold, and the heater didn’t help. I provided information about the birthday, but the restaurant didn’t even congratulate me. It's a pretty noisy place.

Our experience was a mixed bag. The latkes with smoked trout were outstanding. Burgers were also delicious. The steak, on the other hand, was not great. It was tough and difficult to cut or chew. It was also completely raw in the middle. I like rare but this was extreme- and very off-putting. I left half of it on the plate, which at $68 for the entree felt pretty bad. In addition, the sides paired with the steak weren't particularly good. Sorbets for dessert were mind blowing. I would return but couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed by the quality of the most expensive entree.

Dined on a Sunday night - seated on the 2nd level which overlooks the main dining room. It was fun to people watch We shared the little gem salad and the burger /fries. the patty was a thickish 1/2 pounder and easily shareable for 2. For dessert we had the milk chocolate ice cream with sea salt - 3 large scoops and it was so delicious. Creamiest ice cream I’ve ever had Great space, vibe and service. We’ll be back
