We started Nonsuch to give back to our home, help grow our culture, and make Manitoba proud. We're proud to offer shareable plates with a focus on local ingredients as well as our award winning craft beer brewed in-house, just steps away from our dining room.

The food, staff, and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic. Having been there now, I can see why it is difficult to get a seat from time to time. Very nice place to relax, have a bite, and a drink or two before a shownat the theatre oe concert hall.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in the city - the food is outstanding - we literally couldnt decide which dish was our favourite - they were all outstanding - very friendly efficient service. Just cant say enough great words about Nonsuch!

The food is DELICIOUS!! Service is outstanding! Loved the meatballs, burrata and beef tartare. Yum!

The ambiance is incredible in this cozy little location downtown, warm and inviting. we didn't care for the food, it was okay at best, we had the gnocchi which we found bland, the liver pate dish was good, my friend liked it, I just found a bit to much pate. and the big cheese ball, apoligies, i cant recall the name if it, was good, lovely toated bread to spread it on. i know it is a brewery, so keep that in mind, as we were dissapointed we couldnt get wine by the glass, only the whole bottle. i would suggest they just offer one house red and white. regardless, they have a smattering of amazing concoctions of coctails, and the gentlemen that took care of us as the end, was the one who created them, and was very passionate about them, which made me want to try one, the service was fabulous! i will come back for sure, but just for a cocktail.
