TRAUMA NOVELLE returns to Vancouver for a one-night only performance with a new program developed during their month-long residency at Beauty Bar theatre in New York City. SONATA DI SETTEMBRE is an autumn aria of tragic desire crafted specifically for the grand opening of NONNA’S DINNER CABARET! This set will feature the brand new track SOMETHING recorded in NYC this summer. The reservation is to make sure you get a table and you will be able to order drinks and food, prior to the performance at 10 pm. An afterparty to follow the performance with our friend Mr. PABLO spinning a very eclectic mix of Mexican and Italian cabaret, Jazz and Afro Futurism. This promises to be a special night. We hope to see you there!

My family and I ordered 3 types of burrata and they were all incredible! We also loved the gnocchi and orecchiette. Our server Val was the best 😊

Social media is super misleading. Saw them Post our group dining in their establishment on their story saying they were packed. They were half full. They put all resos in their lounge area in small narrow tables with big chairs while their dining room side was empty. The tables were not pleasant to dine at and awkward for conversations. We were celebrating my friends birthday and it’s hard enough to get schedules to align to celebrate but they didn’t give anything complementary and honestly felt like the server said happy birthday just cause it was brought up. I will say the appetizers had great flavour but portions were extremely small. Pastas were very simple nothing amazing. If you like burrata, it’s a spot to try but I wouldn’t recommend to go here at all if you’re celebrating and I would only order a glass of wine or canned drink nothing from their curated menu. We ordered 5 drinks on their menu and they all were very strong & sweet. We really wanted to like this place.

The place has a beautiful interior design. Tables are nicely spread apart so it doesn't feel like you are sharing a meal with the group beside you. Service was good, however, it took us a while to receive the order so it felt like lot of time we were sitting at the empty table. We tried three different burrata, and all three were great. I would recommend carbonara supli as well. I think it was quite interesting. Pasta, on the other hand, really disappointed us. Ragu rigatoni was very sad (2.5 out of 5). Ricotta gnocchi was not bad actually, but not something i would come for again (4/5). I had very high hopes for Orecchiette but it turned out to be the worst dish. All of that was followed by tiramisu. I understand it was all about presentation so definitely wouldn't recommend it if you are interested in taste lol. Preparing tiramisu in front of you goes against the very idea of this dessert. I think my biggest disappointment was their wine list. Italian restaurant that doesn't offer a single decent red...There is definitely room for improvement there...

Second visit to Nonnas and another good experience. Great room and ambience, service was attentive but not overbearing. Server was fun! Good beverage selection. The food was great, tasty and well presented. Overall, we were very happy and will definitely go back.

There were a number of service issues and delays for our food and drinks. I understand this is a new pop up so they may be trying to work out the kinks. We were also sat outside on the patio and felt forgotten about. Drinks were just okay. Food was good but would have been better if it was served hot as half our entrees were hot and the other half had clearly been sitting around for a while. I would still come back but would hope these issues would be sorted by the next time I visit. Staff was also very friendly.
