Nonna’s Italian Bistro serves up home-cooked Italian dishes and local favorites throughout the week. The wine dinner is a popular favorite, but many diners also prefer the standard dinner menu, which offers everything including starters, salads, soups and entrées.

The grilled salmon salad is particularly tasty, as is the pasta fagole and the arrabbiata, which is made with sausage, spinach and peppers. For lunch, enjoy a menu of sandwiches with themes drawn from traditional Italian-Chicago street food. The Italian beef sandwich is always a hit, but you might prefer the Italian combo with beef, sausage and peppers. There is a kids’ menu available, as well as a daily happy hour with discounted wines and snacks.

We had a wonderful dinner at Nonna's. Our server was very professional and attentive. The food was well prepared and plentiful. Because it was a Wednesday night, it was pleasantly quiet. Overall, a great experience.

I was visiting Denver for a week and stayed at a nearby hotel. I happened to see the restaurant and had never heard of it. (I lived in Denver for 25 years.) Decided to try it and everything was excellent, from the hostess, to the service from the server/bartender, to the delicious food that was recommended to me by the server/bartender! Wish I knew her name so that I could give her my thanks! I recommened your restaurant to the many friends that I was visiting and will definitely be back the next time I am in town!

Our date night was fantastic. The service, ambience, and FOOD was incredible. Flavor was definitely a step up from most Italian places we have been to. Highly recommend!

QUICK REVIEW: Great service, Friendly atmosphere, Family run. Cuisine better than expected. Solid 4.7 Stars. Recommend. Yes, we will be back. LONGER REVIEW: We are locals who have been to Nonna's many times, this time with out-of-town family. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a booth by request. Vincente - our main server - was Excellent. Even though he had multiple tables and acted as a bartender, he was there when you needed him, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Cocktails and Wines by the glass had an adequate list, and we had one for each of us. All very yummy. Stuffed mushrooms and garlic knots to table share for appetizers. Salmon, Shrimp linguine, Linguine Bolognese to share. All perfectly cooked, and nothing left on the plate. Very tasty. The bread pudding to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Nonna's is one of our "go-to" places in South and East Denver Suburbs. Highly recommend. Suggest you get reservations on the weekends. YES, we would go back.

Great service-very welcoming and helpful. Garlic knots didn’t have much flavor but dipping sauce is delicious. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Chicken piccata and chicken parm also excellent. Veggies that were served with them were fresh and really tasty. Bolognese wasn’t very flavorful. It was our first visit. Desserts looked great though we didn’t try them.
