What began thirty years ago, as a four month traveling trip, culminated in what is today, a menu designed to take you to many cultures -- the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and Latin America -- tied together by what a meandering, somewhat adventurous backpacker -- a Nomad -- would want to eat.

Nomad Eatery celebrates vibrant dishes found all over these regions, respecting the indigenous flavors, and doing it all in a modern way.

Nominated as Best New Bar and named one of the Top Six New Restaurants in Los Angeles in 2021, Nomad includes a full bar, inventive cocktails, curated wine list, and features abundant seating including a fireplace and heated outdoor dining area.

The waiters was very nice and accommodating. The food was good. Good parking, which is important in the El Segundo area.

Great flavored foods as usual. Filet Mignon Lomo Salgado was excellent. Service friendly and efficient. It was a very pleasant evening. Thank you.

Second time for us and once again, we had a great overall experience. This time it was with our friends , and we had some special requests for a kid with the us and it was all an accommodated and taken care of. Food quality, presentation, balance of taste, variety of options to choose from… overall a fantastic experience. Nomad Hummus is one of the best tasting hummus we have had in recent times, roasted cauliflower with the sauce was had my #1 rating… the drinks were great too. We will be back again !!

We ordered the lamb kebab and the papaya salad. The salad was good. The lamb kebab had no flavor, not even salt and I wasn't sure it was even lamb. I think it was the owner or manager who came over to ask us what we thought. When we said the lamb had little flavor, his response was that is the way middle easterners like it and if it is charred it is even better. Who likes tasteless burned lamb?

Excellent in every way. A charming ambience. Very comfortable place to dine with friends. THe lamb kebab was the best I have ever had.

Our first time at Nomad was amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, Sal our server was great, and Scott the chef/owner came out and had a lovely conversation with us! Definitely going back and bringing more friends next time!

Great food. Friendly servers. No crowd, which is great for us, but probably not great for the establishment, but I’m sure the future they are going to be packed. Enjoy it now! We’re gonna be back soon.

This was our second time dining here. The food was not as good as the first time . The prices were also higher . Service was a tad slow .

Went to the DineLa dinner; it was just ok. Checking into the restaurant was awkward and unclear whom was being seated. The branzino was too salty and over cooked. Dishes were mediocre. Plating and service were not careful. Servers not caring who got what entrees or desserts. Safe to say we will not return. There are other options in South Bay with better food and service.
