Smaller portion sizes. Food came out lukewarm and for value was overpriced.

Quick trip to Cincy and Nolia did not disappoint. Must try the kettle cornbread. Friendly staff, great scene. Amazing dessert!

Creative and delicious food. On the high side for prices but it's a small place with a decent amount of staff so they need to cover the costs. Chef is there and approachable. Even came to the table and showed us the rub for the fish. Menu is limited - only four entree size plates, more small plates. There were specials as well. We sat right by the door so a bit noisy, not as bad as some other OTR restaurants however. we will go back. Menu changes every 90 days so we'll see what is next.

I highly recommend not getting the last reservation of the night because the will start cleaning the kitchen while you are still finishing up your food and drinks. Ruining the great experience that you are expecting to get. The strong smell of the chemicals (fabuloso) ruined the experience for us at the end making it not very fabuloso to us. The food overall was amazing and the staff that greeted us worked very well.

Intimate gem. Went when it first opened 2 years ago and thought it was great but wow has it even gotten better. Absolutely a top 10 restaurant in the metro area.

Service was great. Manager was also very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was lovely. The melon martini was phenomenal and so was the mezcal cocktail. Also loved the miso cabbage. The shrimp toast was good. The cornbread is a fave for most diners, but we thought it was just ok. It’s on the drier side and comes with a heaping amount of butter, but it was still just a little too dry for us. The huckleberry ice cream was good. The king crab was delicious, but for $45…. The serving size made us laugh (the menu did say 2.5 ounces and we didn’t exactly pay attention). Five tiny little pieces the size of maybe a quarter. lol. Even the cabbage was $28. It’s cabbage. Like a third a head of cabbage. The oyster shooter was good. Their bloody mix was great. But I’m not even sure it had vodka in it. It came in a tiny little crock and the oyster was pretty fat. Oysters are $4/ea so not bad. But the shooter was $12. Additionally, when Nolia first opened they served oysters with their apple mignonette but also had lemon and cocktail sauce and crackers. All of us were disappointed they no longer have crackers or cocktail sauce, so we passed on the oysters. Call us basic, but we like what we like. Overall we had a great time and all agreed the cocktails were the best thing we had that night. We aren’t cheap people and we are always willing to pay for good food, but we all agreed we just didn’t quite see the value there. Nothing stood out as “worth” the price we paid.

The food was really good and the space is pretty. Our waiter went above and beyond. Our meat was a bit undercooked and had to send it back and the bread pudding wasn’t good. We would not spend that much money again because while the food was excellent, you get very small portions for the price. Definitely loved the corn bread and short ribs!
