Went for a family graduation celebration. Food was delicious and servers were so pleasant and attentive. It was a perfect evening!

We requested (and were seated at) one of the patio tables (we both liked the atmosphere out there). We had the Calamari, Mediterranean Grain Bowl, Todd's Pork Chop, and the Mixed Broil with Sweet Potato Fries. ALL were excellent! - Calamari was not (overly) crisp like other places but wasn't meant to be that way (IMO). It was very tender and the warm marinara dip and Calabrian chili aioli were great accompaniments. - Mediterranean Grain Bowl: We split it and I especially enjoyed the bruschetta tomatoes. Everything helped balance the Quinoa. We went with one of the vinaigrette dressings our waitress (Kelly) recommended. - Todd's Pork Chop: My wife had this (medium rare) and thought it was one of the best pork chops she had ever had which is high praise. She did think the "flavorful demi-glaze" was a little too beefy tasting and detracted a little from the pork flavor. - Mixed Broil with Sweet Potato Fries: I had this and all the seafood came out great. The tartar sauce was not too overpowering which was nice. I am not a fan of cocktail sauce (too much horseradish for me), so I cannot comment on that. The Sweet Potato fries were thinly sliced which allowed them to get a little crispier than the thick cut ones at other places, which is the way I like them! We didn't have room for dessert but we will definitely be back again.

Traveling thru the area and had read about this place. Glad we went as it was hubby’s BD which the restaurant recognized thru a card holder on your table. Got one of the June specials - Tuna katsu. Excellent! Should be on regular menu. We both got the Captain’s platter. Very good but I believe my lobster was a tad over cooked. Filet mignon cooked as we requested. We also ordered a cocktail pre- dinner, bottle of wine and dessert. Just a tad surprised that the restaurant didn’t offer a complimentary coffee or dessert for a birthday celebration. Overall, a very enjoy evening. I should mention that the hostess was trying very hard to accommodate those that didn’t have reservations, but glad we did!

We started our meal by ordering a perfect Manhattan. The cocktail that we got was made with old-fashioned bitters instead of the traditional Angostura . It gave the cocktail and acceptable but unanticipated Sweet flavor. The ahi tuna to tonkatsu over sushi rice with seaweed salad was absolutely unexpected and delicious. It would have been even more enjoyable, and the tuna been sliced a bit more thinly before frying. The mushroom soup was exceptional full of wonderful umami flavor and tasty Shrimp skewer main dish was wonderfully presented and full of great flavors! The grill pork chop was tasty, but could have been grilled in a way that left a bit more of a crust on the outside of the chop. However, the pork chop inside were very tasty. Overall, a wonderful evening. We have been there a number of times and intend to return.

Atmosphere and service was great. We got the stuffed mushrooms for an app and they were delicious. However, the main course left much to be desired. I ordered the filet Oscar and my crab was overcooked and salty, the steak was cooked to the right temp but just didn’t have the taste of a “prime” cut. The broccoli was 100% unseasoned - just plain steamed broccoli put in a bowl. Thankfully the waitress brought out extra Bernaise sauce when she saw there was barely any on my plate so we used that to help the taste of the broccoli and my husbands steak - he ordered the captains platter, the scallops were cooked well however his steak was overcooked to his liking and had this… truly bad/burnt taste to it that mine did not have. Both were filets so not sure why one tasted so different than the other. He didn’t finish his steak and instead finished off dinner with rolls and butter. Expensive meal for his 40th birthday overnight getaway and we left pretty disappointed.

Great spot for a girls lunch!!! Nothing like a delicious lunch with girlfriends. Nolan’s was the perfect spot!
