Had the chef’s tasting menu on a Wednesday and sat at the chef’s counter. Loved and would recommend the experience. Five small portions, but plenty of food and everything was good & even better than it sounded. Chef was personable, knowledgeable, fun and funny!

This is a place you have to make a regular destination. From the food to the decor to wonderful service this is one of the top three restaurants in KC. The chef knows what he is doing. A great bar with superb cocktails. Noka beats any top 50 restaurant’s in the country. AMAZING. Amonte is the chef owner. Introduce yourself.

My large party had a wonderful experience. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was full, so that was understandable.

It's really to bad that the food from this place isn't better,as the Esthetics of the restaurant are beautiful.I love the layout.I love the seating options, The staff are incredibly effective friendly. Then unfortunately that's where the good stops.I gave this restaurant a try last year For a girl's evening out at the end of the dinner we all decided it was a one and done. Fast track to 9/2024 Decided to give it a try for my anniversary dinner as sushi as my husband's favorite food. We actually took two of the dishes home as they were unedible, And I was uncomfortable just sending them back saying they weren't good. The flavor profiles are all over the place to just NOT good. I wish it wasn't true but this I based off 7 people option not just mine.

Currently the best restaurant in KC for food, vibes, unique cocktails + mocktails (Umami Bomb I'm looking at you). The food is outstanding - better than some Michelin-star restaurants I've visited. The chef is deserving of all the accolades coming his way.

The Chef was amazing. She talked to us and told us where she derived from and where the owner's direction is with this amazing restaurant. The vibe takes you to a village or community in Japan starting when you open the Big heavy door to go in. If possible, please reserve the Chef's table and you will be amazed by the preparation of the food and the hospitality of the staff. A must in KC.

Excellent food, decor, and atmosphere in the old Empire Room spot. Definitely felt like a restaurant you'd find in NYC or DC.

Probably the best restaurant we have been to in KC! The staff were so kind and engaging. They even gave us a sashimi plate on the house. 10/10 will be returning.
