Nobu is always a special experience. Firstly, the food is exceptional, melt in your mouth sashimi, amazingly tender beef dishes and the sauces!! Every dish is an experience. Secondly, the service is excellent, as it should be for this caliber of restaurant. Brian and the entire serving team were awesome in every way, quick, attentive, great recommendations and friendly.

Fantastic from the minute you drive up to be greeted to being seated by the hosts to the server to the food. My favorite restaurant in La Quinta and the Coachella Valley!!!

Service coming into Nobu by the support staff is impeccable. Classic dishes such as the black cod and crispy rice and tuna are always good. Food comes out quickly. Limiting sake menu and wine list isn't as great as it could be. Service is lovely. Not as great as other locations, but enjoyable.

Maki and salads exceptional! Drinks perfection! Waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. However, I think the bus staff needs better training! They kept clearing plates without asking if we were finished. Several rock shrimp and salad remained as they cleared the dishes. It happened too quickly for me to object. In addition, the one mochi on the “birthday plate” was embarrassing and ungenerous. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, a real dessert would have been appreciated!

The gentleman who was the primary food runner would come out with two of the four dishes but would set them down while facing away from the table. This was an issue because we ordered the Omakaze dinner and he was basically explaining the dishes to the potted plant behind us. We often had to ask the person refilling water glasses what was in the dishes we were eating. It would have been nice to have the dishes served to all four of us then afterwards to explain the dish to all of us at once vs the potted plant behind us as the first dish was being placed in front of one of us. Our server didn’t check back to see if we wanted a 2nd cocktail or wine but the water person was happy to relay our request to our server as we finished the 4th course. Small thing but we ate outside as we’re FT residents and used to warmer temps. We were a mix of 30-50ish yr olds and had hoped to enjoy the meal while catching up. Maybe because the patio wasn’t crowded but the thump of music was louder than necessary and made it a bit hard to relax and enjoy each others company. Finally, we’ve had the Omakaze before and love it. Last night we were surprised to have a pasta dish and beef dish. The salmon pieces were the only seafood of the evening and fresh fish is what we’ve come to expect at Nobu. Our bill was only about $1,100 so not the largest of the evening but hopefully large enough to have a second or third seafood item and to have someone other than the water glass gentleman explain to us what we were eating. The potted plant is there every night and probably already knew the dishes.

Daniel was such a wonderful server 10/10 the food was as always fabulous but the staff really made the difference tonight what a perfect evening!

The restaurant was able to accommodate us even though I had the wrong reservation time. Food was delicious - especially the miso cod (classic dish). Service was amazing.

Top notch sushi!! full of flavor! Uni tasted excellent and fresh out of the ocean, like the first time I had it(literally fresh caught by divers in Baja). If you like Uni that’s where you want to go. We had the eight course dinner, it was an experience of flavor well worth the money. I highly recommend it! The staff were great, thank you!!!
