Nobu Downtown is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District designed by NYC’s celebrated architect, David Rockwell. On the ground level, guests can enjoy open air-like experience in our Broadway dining room or Bar & Lounge dining framed by 30 foot heroic limestone columns. Our sub terrain dining room provides intimate ambience with sushi bar and private dining options. Indulge in Chef Nobu’s famous signature dishes including Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso as well as traditional Japanese favorites and sushi.

My boyfriend and I went and it was the worst experience of our life. I’ve gone here before and loved it so I was so disappointed and surprised. My boyfriend got a fish bone stuck in his tongue from one of his sushi rolls and was in a lot of pain. The next morning he had to be taken to the emergency room. Will never come here again after this traumatizing experience.

Nobu is the finest sushi restaurant in the world? New York City downtown is one of their best I’ve been to most in the US.

Took my husband here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. We sat up near the bar area but there is another dining area downstairs which I’m glad we were at the bar because it was a but loud downstairs. Our server was very nice and attentive, the drinks were soooo good and strong. And the food was just so good! Our favorite was the baked snow crab-cut we had two plates of that! Only thing was for dessert I received a text that we would be receiving a dessert that said happy birthday on it with a candle but when brought the dessert menu and mentioned it I was told we had to order the dessert first so I may have misunderstood the text but it seemed implied a complimentary dessert would be offered. Nonetheless we had a great experience and while it is pricy definitely would come back for another special occasion.

Very well attended. Came here for my son’s birthday and the staff was very attentive. Food and ambiance were also great

The food was mediocre and overpriced. Portions were ridiculously small. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

The food at Nobu downtown is mediocre. Like eating at a national chain restaurant. Ambiance is also lacking - random mix.

I’ve loved every single meal I’ve ever had at Nobu. I adore sitting at the sushi bar, and the sushi master who took care of us was outstanding.

Finding this spot was a bit challenging. We were directed by an absolutely delightful employee at Anthropologie who reassured us, it happens all the time. We arrived 15min before our 5:30pm reservation and had to wait till 5:40pm before they led us down the stairs to our table. Thankfully they let us sit while we waited. Now about this NOBU experience — for this vegan family, it was beyond words because our server Mr Islam was absolutely so attentive and outstanding ! Extraordinary service by all but this special graduation dinner became a most cherished beautiful experience because of Islam. The food was delicious. The ambiance trendy. We’ll definitely look forward to many more visits. Thank you Nobu Downtown for making this a dinner to joyfully remember.
