Nobu Downtown is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District designed by NYC’s celebrated architect, David Rockwell. On the ground level, guests can enjoy open air-like experience in our Broadway dining room or Bar & Lounge dining framed by 30 foot heroic limestone columns. Our sub terrain dining room provides intimate ambience with sushi bar and private dining options. Indulge in Chef Nobu’s famous signature dishes including Rock Shrimp Tempura and Black Cod Miso as well as traditional Japanese favorites and sushi.

Took my boyfriend here for the first time for his birthday and he loved it. In particular, we loved the wagyu dumplings, wagyu tacos and yellowtail & scallion sushi.

The staff were really friendly. My waiter was really nice but he kept trying to oversell me stuff. The food was really good, the annoying thing is i settled my bill before i finished eating and still had drinks. As soon as that happened the staff stopped checking on me and clearing the table, which seemed to suggest they only cared before i paid. Left a sour taste

Overall it was a good experience. The food was delicious! The only two things that I have something negative to say about is the fact that our waiter hardly ever checked on us. We saw him checking in on the tables around us but we felt very excluded and had to get someone to get his attention so we can order another drink. Also, it was my husband’s birthday and I had asked if they could write a personalized message on his dessert and it just came out as a normal “happy birthday” message. Other than that it was good.

My expectations were very high coming here, so that could be what led to a bit of disappointment. We received a call earlier in the day about our reservation and were asked about my birthday. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and was looking forward to having a special experience. We were seated in the restaurant area at a very small shared table. I asked if we could sit at the bar because it was so noisy that we couldn't have a conversation without yelling. They obliged and we went back upstairs. The bartender's service was terrible. She was not friendly and acted as if we were a nuisance to her. No help with the menu or anything. I was very disappointed in this very expensive experience.

We loved! Nobu always delivers. We missed the waiters describing the plates the way the usually do, and the dish we had in San Diego:fish & chips.

My boyfriend and I went and it was the worst experience of our life. I’ve gone here before and loved it so I was so disappointed and surprised. My boyfriend got a fish bone stuck in his tongue from one of his sushi rolls and was in a lot of pain. The next morning he had to be taken to the emergency room. Will never come here again after this traumatizing experience.

Nobu is the finest sushi restaurant in the world? New York City downtown is one of their best I’ve been to most in the US.

Took my husband here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. We sat up near the bar area but there is another dining area downstairs which I’m glad we were at the bar because it was a but loud downstairs. Our server was very nice and attentive, the drinks were soooo good and strong. And the food was just so good! Our favorite was the baked snow crab-cut we had two plates of that! Only thing was for dessert I received a text that we would be receiving a dessert that said happy birthday on it with a candle but when brought the dessert menu and mentioned it I was told we had to order the dessert first so I may have misunderstood the text but it seemed implied a complimentary dessert would be offered. Nonetheless we had a great experience and while it is pricy definitely would come back for another special occasion.
