Nobu isn’t known for value, because you’re not going to Nobu to save money. Sitting at the sushi bar was fantastic. Our sushi chef was fantastic. Our server was a little aloof, but no big deal, the food was outstanding!!

We have dined now three times at Nobu Chicago. We have had excellent ding experience. We do the custom menu and always get new offerings. Tonight Alexis our server really went above and beyond to get us excellent items!

It was just okay. I lived in Japan for many years and my palate has definitely been spoiled. My sister and I took our baby sister out for her 40th birthday because this is her favorite place to eat. She likes the experience. The experience is underwhelming, however I create my own experience. The portions are small and the flavors of the food was a little to fusion for my taste. It’s not bad; but I will not be returning. Very overpriced for what you get.

Over achieved our expectations getting the omakase. Highly recommend letting the chef select and serve seasonal specialties based on your palate preference.

The service and the meal were fantastic, our server went above and beyond and truly was an expert and selected the best for our testing menu. We were sat immediately next to a table that was incredibly underdressed and obnoxious, wearing cargo shorts, baseball caps, and sunglasses indoors. Understand that it’s a Saturday evening and later, but as the evening panned out the place cleared out and we were stuck sitting next to a table of weirdos. You’d think at a place like this, they’d actually enforce a dress code

Rough experience at Nobu Chicago. Main dishes arrived 45 minutes apart from each other, probably the most drawn out dining experience I have ever experienced. I had the distinct impression the entire staff was in total disarray, completely unaware of what was happening. They did comp our last two entrees because we had all been sitting for 45 minutes. Restaurant was exceedingly loud, much more than my past experiences at Midtown Nobu and LA. Food was good but I would caution anyone considering this location. I usually just leave no review with a bad experience but this one was torturous.

I celebrated my birthday at Nobu and what an experience! The evening was beautiful. Our server, Sylvia, was amazing! She fit right in with our vibe! I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Great Japanese restaurant would love go back. Went there for birthday celebration. Everything we ordered is so good except for the ribeye.
