   The food was mediocre at best, compared to the NYC outposts. The noise level and view of slot machines detracted from the overall experience.

   If you've been to a Nobu before - any Nobu - then you know this isn't a cheap date. But the fish quality is phenomenal, the presentation is thoughtful and the service is excellent (kudos to our server, Nickolas). Love that they offered New Orleans specific specials (we had the Toro with caviar and gold flakes in Yuzu sauce).

   Our server Andrea was outstanding and very accommodating with our requests and suggestions with our experience. the entire staff truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome and as if we were the only patron in the restaurant. Thank you team for the memorable experience

   The food was absolutely amazing. Courtney took care of us and was the best! She is extremely knowledgeable and made our experience fabulous!

   We were very excited to try Nobu in New Orleans. I was expecting a much different experience. The restaurant is located at the main entrance of the Ceasar's casino. Ceasar's recently took over and renovated the original Harrah's casino and Nobu opening up inside was one of the new offerings. The atmosphere is very "casino" in the worst way. The restaurant is open to the casino floor which in my opinion, takes away from the exclusivity, ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. It's very open and airy inside with generic tables spaced very far apart so it looks almost bare. The lighting is so low that you can't read the menu. I believe the low lighting is an effort to create an atmosphere that is not there. When new customers walk in, the hostess shouts something which is likely a greeting and the bartenders repeat, which is disruptive. Overall, the atmosphere was disappointing enough to keep me from returning. However, the service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu which I appreciate. The food was good. We tried several things, the shishitos, toro tartare, truffle ceaser - all good. We also ordered the miso black cod, sea bass and mushrooms - all good. For dessert we had the baked Alaska and dulce de leche balls and they were good. Solid good meal, not the best ever but above average and enjoyable.

   The black cod miso is a must. For desert, the cappuccino miso was also incredible. The staff made our lack of experience with Japanese effortlessly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Finally learned how to order. They have so many of our favorite dishes that we use to go in and order all of them. Last night we ordered just a few which makes you want to go back and get the other favorites.

   Exceptional service from the entire team. Our server Xavier was accommodating and anticipated our needs while the other staff assisted in a well-run front of house operation! Food was well prepared and delicious. Price points on some items were high, but overall an amazing experience. Highly recommended the A5 wagyu hot stone preparation and Tuna O Toro!

    Delicious!!! Every plate was better than the last. My favorite was the scallops and dessert-BAKED ALASKA! Yum!
