Very excited to go to Nobu, our experience was less than stellar. Front of house service was so basic and poor that we decided to leave and not drop $500 when the treatment was no better than Applebees. Upon being seated we were greeted with a “good afternoon” at 9:30 pm. Server’s head was on a swivel and he didn’t take a moment to look at us. So much so that he tried to upsell cocktails when we came to the table with full cocktails from the bar. When we asked how the server was he replied “busy” with an overwhelmed look on his face. On an important birthday when I had cancelled other good restaurants that can guarantee good service, I regretted canceling those other plans to go to Nobu. Maybe the food would have been good. But all signs pointed to a disappointing night and I’m glad we left and changed plans. We went to our regular sushi place in Midcity and had a way better experience.

Food spectacular, service incredible, ambience poor. Was expecting to be more WOW’ed but the interior and design was not good. Really didn’t enjoy listening to machines the whole time

Absolutely incredible experience! Food was unbelievable and stellar service. One of the best omakese meals we’ve ever had and best meals in New Orleans. Great for a birthday celebration! We will absolutely be back and hands down recommend!

Everything was amazing! Service was exceptional and food was even better. The atmosphere is my favorite. Definitely will be back!

Have been to four other locations, and we have always been extremely satisfied. However, prices are very high considering the small portions. The New Orleans location was great, but the music was so loud that you cannot hear the wait staff and the people at your table. The potential of being more of a romantic place is there, but noise is just too loud.

The decor and ambiance were very nice. The service was a little slow, and we were not advised of the specials like the surrounding tables. The food was delicious and the drinks were very flavorful. We also had the sake, which was very good!

My wife and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary here and it did not disappoint. Kirsten or (Kiki) was our server and she asked if we would be open to her selecting our courses and take us on a bit of a Nobu adventure! I don’t usually eat raw fish meals but I knew this would be top quality fish, and boy was it. The hot dishes were just as flavorful. Service and the food was wonderful. Pricey of course but we knew that going into it. The food is worth it! Not somewhere most would go regularly but I do recommend spending at least one special occasion here.
