Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

Disappointing. Booked to celebrate friend’s birthday for lunch. Despite confirming reservation, I kept getting calls and texts insisting I keep confirming. I confirmed four times. It’s like they didn’t want us to show up. That should have been my first clue. We were sat in the bar… not ideal, but ok (and the place was empty) Halfway through lunch our server disappeared without a word. A half glazed second server approached asking if we were ready for the check, it was time for a shift change. We’d just gotten our meals. We said not yet. The bottle of champagne we ordered sat 10 feet away from our table; the new server never came to pour again so we got up to move the bucket to our table to serve ourselves the rest of the meal. He literally watched us do this offering no help. 20 minutes passed and we had to ask for the birthday dessert we’d pre-ordered. Just complete lack of attention and service. We were one of three total tables. At least 5 employees walked by and offered no service the entire second half of our meal. We spent $350. I won’t be back and wish I’d had it on me to leave nothing at all for a tip but hoped the small tip I left somehow got to the first attentive server we had the first half of our meal.

Please make sure you eat before going to dinner at Nubo. Small portions. Everything is a la carte. We sat on the patio which was cool and not loud. The staff on a whole is well trained for fine dining. We happened to get the female waitress who was a bit too familiar and in formal with us. The ambience of the restaurant is nice. Classy well dressed patrons. The black cod was delicious. The creamy spicy snow crab 🦀 legs was trash as well as the spicy garlic vegetable. We did enjoyed the spicy Edamame. A few celebrities were spotted and the aesthetic were nice.

Everything was spectacular!! We actually stayed in the hotel and was the perfect combination!!

Food was great, service was ok, we were sat outside (hot) even though many open tables inside. Service was uneven and good at first but took a long time to get dessert and the check.

Every dinner experience has been over the top. From the bartenders to the Chefs table all are five star.

This was the first time I’ve been to Nobu and it was a great experience. The server, Maleik was very sweet and helped guide us on what eat and drink. He also helped us celebrate my friend, Kelli’s, birthday. I will definitely be going back and requesting Maleik!!!
