Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

Absolutely delicious. I am craving it already. We just went last night. I ordered Yellowtail Tartare With Caviar. Super yummy. My husband had lobster and shrimp tacos. They were tiny but very good.

Our initial visit to Nobu in Atlanta was a memorable experience, where we indulged in a $200.00 4oz WAGU BEEF, along with lobster, spicy edamame, and a bottle of Sancerre wine costing over $500.00. It is worth mentioning that I have frequented the Nobu in Aspen approximately 50 times. My husband and I tied the knot just six weeks ago, and we wanted to celebrate this special occasion. It was a delightful experience for him, as we had the opportunity to spend quality time together without any distractions. Further, there were mostly business people there on the Wednesday night we were there 10.29.24. In comparison, the vibe at the Aspen Nobu is lively and the vibe at the Atlanta Nobu was professional business people. 4.5 stars

Our server seemed inexperienced and nervous. We specifically ask not to have certain things like cilantro and our food came with cilantro. She disappeared for long periods of time and we were unable to get refills on drinks. The food we ordered was not cooked properly and the sushi we ordered was not chilled properly. For the level of food and service, the prices were extremely high. I would avoid this location at all costs. I’ve been to other Nobu locations and had amazing experiences.

Just left Nobu after an anniversary dinner. The waitress was so rude that we contemplated leaving as soon as we sat down. I wish we had. $640 later (not including tip), we are in shock as to how bad the food and service was. We ordered the omakase and were not impressed by a single dish or cocktail. Every dish was either drenched in sauce or fried, and more than 50% of the dishes had truffle (truffle is fine but not on almost every dish). Dessert was not included in our omakase experience, and our sushi offerings were salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, and snapper. I feel totally duped and disgusted after this subpar meal.

The service was slow in a less than 1/4 filled restaurant. The server came by every 15-20 minutes but did little to earn a $80 tip. Some of the food items were 10/10 and some were inedible. For a $420 meal for two people I expect a lot more in terms of service and quality of the food. I cannot give them a recommendation at the price point with lack luster service and inconsistent food quality.
