11 Brasserie @ No 11 is located within the discreet luxury of a historically significant, Edinburgh Georgian Town House, this award winning restaurant, displays a menu that exhibits some of Scotland's finest produce, infused with flavors that reflect Scotland's stunning natural landscape. The Head Chef, Stevie, has received a AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence -Food that literally looks as good as it tastes! There can be no better local dining experience.

The Brasserie is located on the ground floor and seats around 30 diners.
It serves Breakfast (8:00 to 10:00) every day, Dinner (17:00 - 20:30 Last Orders) Wed - Sun, and Lunch (12 noon - 15:30) Saturday and Sunday.


Our menus focus on home made dishes, using tasty, fresh produce from artisan suppliers. We're happy to accomodate any dietary requirements and preferences. Please note we do not have a children's menu.


A selection of alcoholic beverages is available including spirits

No11 will welcome you with an aperitif of our finest champagne to cleanse the pallet. AA Rosette Award winning Head Chef, Stevie, has prepared a menu full of exotic and traditional flavours that combine, complement and excite like a perfect tantilising tango on a plate; creating an unimaginable desire for more. No11 is only a twelve minute walk from Carlton Hill which offers a fantastic view of the Castle and Hogmanay Fire Works. There is a Meat and a Vegetarian Menu available. This Menu (see No11 Website or Opentable) is exclusive to Hogmanay 2024 - What better way to bring in 2025!

    The scallop starter and duck breast entree were excellent, as were the profiteroles and textures of chocolate and hazelnut desserts.

    We booked at no11 and were not disappointed. We couldn't believe that it's wasn't full based on the quality of the food and the service was first class. Presented beautifully and so tasty would definitely recommend

    Twelve months ago this restaurant was totally wonderful with an exciting menu. It has lost its edge and some of the dishes really disappointed. Such a shame, had really looked forward to returning

    We had the Scallops, then Venison and for dessert the Assiette of Chefs Desserts. All washed down with a nice Rosè. To end the meal a Double Expresso and as we are in Scotland an excellent Double Single Malt. A perfect end to a perfect meal.

    That’s not the first time we’ve been here and it is constantly wonderful, always great food, service is exceptional from all the staff and chef should earn highest Michelin star awards for the things he cooks. No 11 is our go to place for our celebrations whether it is an anniversary or birthday. Many many thanks to all of you 🩷🩷🩷

    Another outstanding dining experience at No. 11. This is our 3rd visit and we are yet to find anything to fault. The quality of the food is fantastic and it is reasonably priced to accommodate most budgets. Faultless!

    I was disappointed in the food, in general it lacked flavours. I had the salmon to start and had to ask what saussison meant. When it came it appeared to be basically salmon pate, the creme fraiche didn't have much taste (meant to have lime in it), the orange caviar had no taste, but the black caviar did. The dish needed more flavour and a wedge of lemon, also a better description on the menu. For the main I had the duck, the duck itself was great. The dish came with pea puree which I'm allergic too, so it was taken away and returned with carrot puree, thish had no flvour of carrot. The rosti wedge was dry, but I had a side of potatoes which with the duck was the best part of the dish. The red wine and goat chesse cream again had no flavour. Duck needs a strong sauce/jus. Overall I was disappointed in the food.
