Service was personable, polite and top notch. Set lunch was lovely, even the house wine was a surprise! Will definitely come back!

As out of town guests, we were really looking forward to dining here last evening given the excellent reviews. The place is lovely, intimate yet lively, and the menu offers excellent choices. We enjoyed the cocktails, wine, and food (appetizers and mains), and the drinks and food came quickly. Unfortunately, the waiter really ruined the experience for us. He was impatient and short in every interaction, even when it was initially not busy. He seemed impatient taking our order, left before my colleague could choose her wine, did not refill our water, did not refill our wine glasses (leaving us to do so), and refused to provide two cheques - even though this is required for business purposes. It did seem he was more attentive to diners who were British, which was insulting, although my colleague lives in the UK. Unfortunately with the type of service we received we would not recommend this restaurant to others.

An amazing restaurant in the centre of Oxford. A wonderful menu, reasonably priced. The staff are very attentive and the service just right. This restaurant is perfect for pre-theatre dining and a luxurious break while shopping. My favourite venue.

Great food but stand out service. Not seen service like it for years. Really attentive, engaging staff especially our charismatic Spanish waiter.

Another return lunch trip and once again tremendous quality food and service, coupled with excellent value, especially if you go with the set menu.

We’ve been going here for years before the upstairs was a dining room . The food was outstanding , langoustine bisque the flavours were to die for , fish soup and scallops outstanding . Lobster for main again brilliant. With the great staff and ambience this was a fantastic night out .
