Lovely little find, off the main roads. Delicious food & very friendly service. We went at lunchtime & had the set menu, which was good value. Wine good too (we had the Rioja). The restaurant - a smart brasserie - had a buzz, but not noisy. Would highly recommend.

Great food, scallops were lovely and plaice was large and tasty. The others loved the fish soup, mussels and the lobster. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was that although the service was very very friendly, it was slow - had to wait an age (and ask) for our orders to be taken and then for the bill to arrive…. Thought it was good value for the quality of food received. Will be back, but will ask for speedier service…

We had a lovely dinner at No1 Ship Street, from beginning to end. Drinks were delightful, the food was fantastic, and our server was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back the next time we’re on Oxford!

We had a pre-theatre dinner. Great service and menu choices and great specials. Food was delicious, arrived promptly and service was great, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.
