Lovely evening with excellent food. This isn’t a restaurant you’ll trip over but it is an easy stroll from the town centre and the walk would be worth it. The menu is modern British, good food and ingredients put together with some care. The prices are top end of middle market, so it doesn’t need to be a special occasion but you wouldn’t eat there every week. Service is smooth and unobtrusive, drinks menu is modest but covers the bases.

Today was our 3rd visit to this amazing restaurant ,delicious food prepared and served beautifully great selection of wines to accompany your meal . Tucked away in Bayshill rd a stone’s throw from Montpellier this restaurant is a must visit . We haven’t tried the afternoon tea but if it’s on a par with the rest of the food we have had it will be exquisite .

This place is a real gem, with attentive & friendly service and great food, prepared & presented with care & imagination, in just the right proportions. We will certainly return, and are already looking forward to it!

We had a fantastic meal here on Saturday night and absolutely loved the menu… I could have happily picked anything to eat, especially from the dessert selection. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again with the whole family.

Amazing anniversary dinner at No1. Excellent and attentive service from the moment we arrived. Food was outstanding, fresh, flavourful and perfect portion sizes. So very impressed, just a big wow and we will be back. We cannot thank the team at No1 enough for making our anniversary perfect- we will be back ….
