First time at the restaurant, the pork roast was very delicious, would like chicken on the menu if possible 🙌 Dessert was lovely as well ( brownie) Slight downside was the noise! Had to shout at each other to hear, and a few kids screaming but that’s not the restaurants fault Sat by the main door and did find it was a little chilly when it kept being opened Waitress was great and said when we book again ask for a different seat Would definitely return

We came to No 9 restaurant as myself and my Husband had our wedding reception at Chapel House Estate and wanted to celebrate our first anniversary that was in April. Having traveled some distances, We were very disappointed with the service and the food served. The only saving grace was what we can assume was the head waitress, whom did offer some apologies and made a slight attempt to rectify the issues when we raised our concerns. We were told we needed to raise concerns throughout the meal, which we did and these were laughed off, but nothing was actually done to rectify things at the time. We asked for cutlery and didn't recieve this, therefore making it even more difficult to eat and try to enjoy the food that was served. I am unsure if the restaurant is meant to be associated with the wedding venue or if that was my incorrect assumption, but if it is, it is absolutely not a good example of the food that is served and would potentially be offered at someone's wedding. I was left feeling extremely disappointed and can only hope it doesn't put people off of booking such a beautiful venue in future.

Noisy restaurant when full - can't hear your table guests. Food portions are very small but expensive. Order was mixed up between waitress and kitchen

I had a wonderful afternoon at No 9 in the Walled Courtyard for Afternoon Tea with friends and family. The atmosphere was amazing, and the setting was beautiful. The food was absolutely spot on, and the cakes were delicious. There were plenty of drink choices for those who didn't want a hot drink in the sun. I couldn't recommend No 9 afternoon tea enough.

We love the small plates summer menu - it’s like tapas but not spicy!! Great quality ingredients and beautifully cooked and prepped. Lovely waitress and serving staff. If there are spaces between the Estate weddings, we would love to come back this summer. Yummy. Highly recommended.

We found the menu rather confusing (maybe it’s a new trend)! Thankfully we weren’t the only people who needed help. The food was good. Definitely worth a visit. 4/5

A lovely roast, but potatoes reheated, not much sauce with the cauliflower cheese.

Lovely surroundings and wonderful food. Nothing to fault. Lucky enough with the weather to sit outside in the courtyard and nice to walk around the grounds/gardens after the meal. Service was impeccable and the main front of house server was welcoming and efficient in ensuring everything run like clockwork. I think the price was reasonable for the food/meal delivered. Will definitely be back to try their other menu offering.
