Situé dans le cœur du Hell's Kitchen, le Nizza vous accueille dans un restaurant italien décontracté. Le chef Andy D'Amico utilise la cuisine de la Riviera italienne comme point de départ à son exploration de l'Italie. La « Socca », la spécialité de la maison, vous permettra de découvrir cette crêpe de pois chiches cuite dans un four en briques, une recette traditionnelle de la ville française de Nice. Dans le menu figurent une merveilleuse sélection d'antipasti, des salades, des soupes, des pizzas, des pâtes et des plats de résistance. En 2008, le Nizza a retenu l'attention du Time Out New York et du New York Magazine dans la catégorie « Petit Budget ». ABOUT OUR GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY MENU
Our GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY menu has been a welcomed blessing to our gluten free patrons since it was first introduced over a decade ago. Our GF pastas are made with corn flour, and our GF Pizza is made with an imported Italian Gluten Free flour. While we work very hard to keep all of our gluten free guests safe, Nizza is not solely a gluten free restaurant and there is always a risk of cross contamination.

Our experience at Nizza was excellent! Really great service and delicious food. Very impressed with the quality of the gluten free meal options, and the knowledge of the server about safe gluten free options (celiac).

Live in the neighborhood and have been many times. This time taking out of town quests. The food is always okay... nothing extraordinary. One major complaint. We weren't even halfway through our appetizers and our entrees arrive creating a table scape of many plates on the table. Suddenly we're rushing to finish our appetizers so we can get to the entrees while our appetizer plates remain on the table for a ridiculous length of time creating a mess. The only thing this does to a diner is send a clear message that we're trying to get you out of our establishment as soon as possible. A disappointing evening although memorable for all the wrong reasons.

I had been here before and wasn’t impressed. I stand corrected! Tonight was excellent. Great service and our food was excellent. I had the beef pappardelle pasta. I ate every bite!

Excellent service always! We went to Nizza for our anniversary and the staff had signed a card for us! Waiters are always great. Love their house red wine, branzino, and pasta. Their affogatos are sublime. I super appreciate the fact that they have a gluten-free menu and gluten-free focaccia. In terms of improvement, I wish they had more vegetarian, gluten-free options for entrees and that their gluten-free pizza was better tasting.

Our server Sabastan was professional and and attentive to our needs. He gave us an exceptional experience. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend Nizza.

Nizza is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s in a great location for pre or post theatre. Food and service are terrific. I love the socca, and their pastas are wonderful.

The 3 of us liked apps, drinks and dessert better than the entree. The spinach ravioli had a sauce we didn't expect. One of us wasn't wild about it. The other 2 thought it was good, not great. We all ate it (we were hungry). Prices are reasonable especially for Manhattan. Hosts and server were friendly, nice, made us feel welcome and did a good job congratulating our daughter on her birthday and other things and putting a candle in her dessert for her. Even if they were friendly and kind for their own business purposes, it's OK because many staff members at other restaurants in NYC are cold, unfriendly, rude and some don't even respond in any positive way about complaints. So I'll happily accept the friendliness at Nizza and we will be back to say hi to Anthony at the door and try some other homemade pasta dishes.
