Le chef Andy D'Amico utilise la cuisine de la Riviera italienne comme point de départ à son exploration de l'Italie. La « Socca », la spécialité de la maison, vous permettra de découvrir cette crêpe de pois chiches cuite dans un four en briques, une recette traditionnelle de la ville française de Nice. Dans le menu figurent une merveilleuse sélection d'antipasti, des salades, des soupes, des pizzas, des pâtes et des plats de résistance. ABOUT OUR GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY MENU
Our GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY menu has been a welcomed blessing to our gluten free patrons since it was first introduced over a decade ago. Our GF pastas are made with corn flour, and our GF Pizza is made with an imported Italian Gluten Free flour. While we work very hard to keep all of our gluten free guests safe, Nizza is not solely a gluten free restaurant and there is always a risk of cross contamination.

Nizza is one of our absolute favorite Italian restaurants in all of NYC. The entire experience there is always fantastic. We're not typically into going out on Valentine's Day but when we saw the prix fixe menu they were offering at such an amazing price we couldn't resist booking a table and it did not disappoint at all. We started out by ordering a fabulous bottle of wine and both of our appetizers were fantastic...we especially loved the mushroom risotto, then our entrees were equally fabulous. My wife loves their Branzino and she gets it all the time because it's perfectly cooked and the flavors are phenomenal so she decided to order it last night as well. I got the Lasagna which is typically only available on Thursday nights so I was VERY HAPPY to have Nizza's incredible Lasagna for Valentine's dinner. It's been a while since I had it because we haven't been able to go on a Thursday night and it was as good as I remember. It's a thick hearty Lasagna with the most fabulous flavors and a perfectly luscious Bechamel sauce mixed with the most exquisite Italian tomato flavor. Finally we finished with their unbelievable Tiramisu and the lemon ricotta cheesecake perfectly paired with Nizza's awesome espresso martinis (although we always have them made without the simple syrup because the mix of vanilla vodka with their espresso is just perfection)...both desserts and drinks were exceptional. Nizza's Tiramisu is one of the best anywhere in NYC so it's a must have whenever we go. We're sooo happy we decided to book last night and now we may have to go every year for Valentine's Day at Nizza with that spectacular menu and service. By the way, if you're lucky to get Gus who was our server he's awesome....He's served us a number of times before and he's a fantastic server. Although, everyone who works at Nizza is wonderful. The whole night was a 10 out of 10!!!

Nizza is our GO-TO before theater spot. The service is always refreshingly professional and warm, the gluten free menu is especially appreciated and delicious. Thank you, Nizza for keeping up your quality over the years!

Low-key and homey neighborhood find. We had delicious Caesar Salad, Arugula Salad, Branzino, and the Pappardelle Bolognese of the day. We also took advantage of one of their $24 Wednesday wine bottle! Excellent service.

This is one of my very favorite restaurants in NYC. It’s also special to me professionally. I “interview” playwrights and directors here when I’m looking for a new project. Great food and service, bright and sunny vibe.

Nizza is conveniently located near the theater district. It was a 5 minute walk to Majestic Theater. We were promptly seated upon arrival and our host recognized that it was my daughter’s birthday. The service was very good and the food excellent. This was restaurant week so we ordered off of the pre-fixed menu. The portions were perfect and the pasta extremely fresh. We also had salmon and steak that was cooked just as ordered. We definitely plan to return.

Wanted somewhere close to the theatre but not one of the typical tourist traps! Saw the reviews and immediately knew to book! It was just perfect. Great food and very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends looking for an authentic Italian.

I enjoy Nizza and like their food, across the board. But I did not think the restaurant week meal was a good value, because the pasta servings were tiny, in a little bowl like you would give to a child.

Overall a good experience, the food was delicious and worth the price. Would have liked to have had the dessert though, we asked our server for the dessert to go twice with our check & after and never received it. We ended up having to rush out to make the show we were headed to & were disappointed that once we paid we were largely ignored. Seating is a bit tight as well.
